A search is underway on Sunday afternoon for a missing 15-year-old girl and her four-month-old daughter and police say they may be in need of medical attention.

According to Chicago police, 15-year-old Saidy Sevilla and her four-month-old daughter Lizette Abigail Gonzalez-Sevilla are missing from the 2900 block of West 25th Street, in the city’s Little Village neighborhood, and have not been contacted since around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

The missing teen, who has black hair and brown eyes, weighs around 120 pounds and stands about 5-foot-5.

A photo provided by police of the missing 4-month-old girl shows her having black or dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities shared details about the duo’s disappearance in a news release sent out on Sunday afternoon.

Officers said the two may be in need of medical attention but did not provide details about why.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 15-year-old Saidy Sevilla and her four-month-old daughter is asked to contact the CPD Area Four Detective division at 312-746-8251 or dial 911.
