Not very computer illeriate - do I need to "click" on something over there to watch?

TIA! :pcguru:

Thus far, it's only been a live video of the reporter standing outside the courthouse. It was live, there is no longer any live video at this moment.

As of now, I'm unable to tell if there will be any footage of the hearing inside the courthouse. Has anyone been able to tell if this hearing will be recorded?

What is super bizarre is that the photo with the most shares/negative comments is a "Fox Mulder" meme (X-Files) that's been wrongly ID'd as BC and has taken off like wildfire. Kinda scary and gave me pause regarding people's anger (even when it's deserved) and people's rush to pass judgement.

In an age where the media is 24/7 and reaches across the globe, its to be expected. Personally, the videos of her family have pierced my heart. Her fiancé's optimism when in the pit of stomach I had begun to expect that the worst had happened, her aunt's sobs, and knowing that her mother is too sick to travel... its been beyond gut wrenching.

For someone who appears to have been likely to have been fantasizing if not planning this scenario, he sure left a big, almost fishily sloppy trail of online content...I am also surprised that she has not taken fb down and that the status update was public.
IMO I believe he never in a million years thought he would ever be caught, so he didn't bother to clean up his " fishily sloppy trail of online content". BC not much of chess player instead of being 3 moves ahead looks he was playing catch up.

I don't think cameras are generally allowed in federal courtrooms, but I could be wrong. The way the FBI has kept the details of this case from public view makes me think the court proceedings will not be live streamed, but I guess we will find out in a few minutes.

From your link:

This morning’s proceeding before U.S. Magistrate Judge Eric Long was moved to a larger courtroom, on the third floor of the federal courthouse, to accommodate members of Ms. Zhang’s and Christensen’s families.

By 8:30 a.m. — 90 minutes before the hearing — every seat was accounted for.

I wonder if the defense will ask for a change of venue due to the overwhelming community support for Yingying.

This has drawn so much attention, and rightfully so, that I think they will be hard pressed to find any new unbiased venue. IMO

I do too, but I wonder if they will say that jury pool has become biased.

I am due for another jury summons. I was able to get out of my last one because I was a nursing mom. Can you imagine?!?
