This is a long article, giving a detailed timeline of all the incidences. Sorry about the partial title; I flagged it to get it fixed.

3 charged in deadly crime spree | wthr.com
[snips]
Prosecutors are charging Richard Garrett, Delance Hatcher and Rashaana Farrow.

Hatcher appeared in court Monday. He's accused of 31 crimes including murder, six armed robberies, two kidnappings, sevent acts of criminal recklessness along with theft, conspiracy and firearms charges.

Garrett is also charged in the fatal hit-and-run of Anthony Mack. Garrett is the same man accused of shooting and killing Fishers Police K-9 Harlej in November 2019.

There were 18 victims including nine that were shot and two who were murdered.

Anthony Mack had been hit by a dark car and left in the road. A witness said the car that hit Mack was traveling east and had crossed over into the westbound lane to hit him. The car then sped off.

The Fishers Police Department was alerted to a car driving eradically on I-69. Police attempted to stop the gold Cadillac when it sped away. Officers chased the car and stopped it capturing Rashaana Farrow. The driver, Richard Garrett ran off. Police K-9 Harlej was sent after him and was shot and killed.

Farrow told the detective she was with Garrett and hatcher during the murder of Devon Gillespie. She said they had actually gone to the apartment to kill someone else when they say Gillespie. Farrow told the detective that Hatcher was upset with Gillespie for allegedly selling him a gun and then stealing it back.

Story about Officer Jarred Koopman and his new partner, Rico. Police K-9 deaths hit pretty hard. This was on the local news a lot.

Total was 6 years in Indiana DoC. He had some good time credit and time served; it won't matter considering the murder charges he has pending.

According to Doxpop, RG has at least 5 open cases; the latest of which happened Feb 24 while serving his time for killing K-9 Harlej. I've followed this case from the beginning but I'm mostly interested in the murder trial.

35-44.1-3-7/F4: Prisoner Possessing a Deadly Weapon but where the device, equipment, chemical substa

Indiana code 35-44.1-3-7
A person who knowingly or intentionally while incarcerated in a penal facility possesses a device, equipment, a chemical substance, or other material that:

(1) is used; or
(2) is intended to be used; in a manner that is readily capable of causing bodily injury commits a Level 5 felony. However, the offense is a Level 4 felony if the device, equipment, chemical substance, or other material is a deadly weapon.

Hatcher has at least 6 open cases, 5 of which are connected to this crime spree. The sixth is also a murder charge involving a prisoner who was beaten to death. I'm going to do a separate post on that one if it hasn't already been posted.

Farrow's worse cases are associated with the crime spree.

RG update. The one I bolded is kind of interesting in light of the fact that he's facing 23 charges; 2 of which are Murder.
All 3 defendants in this case are having a PTC on 10/8.

Time for an update. I'll start with Delance Hatcher's other murder charge. He was sitting in jail on the above murder charge when he and 10 other inmates beat an accused SO to death. Since the judge chose to run this charge concurrent with the other murder charge, IMO he really didn't receive any punishment.
