Yes.
Before this simple "Yes" @Ozoner had asked: "So these parents are focused on his repentance? Are they involved with organized religion in any way? Is the father a minister? I ask because ministers change parishes from time to time. The son of a minister might not have grown up in Delphi and might have been something of an outsider. He could have had resentment against the community."
@Ravenmoon, I think that your theory makes a lot of sense if we are asking ourselves who LE suspected -- or wanted to rule out, or hoped would confess -- at the time of the April press conference. After looking at the scanner thread, especially, I understand a bit about this theory.
But it's 9 months later now. In hindsight, it looks like that theory may have passed. The person didn't confess, the person is perhaps doing quite well. He is perhaps totally innocent but had to be hail-Mary pressed hard upon for some reason, such as that he or his vehicle was seen there. Maybe he helped search.
Your person fits what LE believed at the time: local, they've talked to him, younger than believed before, religious, might have enough of a conscience still to confess, etc., etc.
I don't think the person you are likely referring to matches the video of BG at all, although quite well matches the second sketch. I don't think he is BG. I don't think he's the murderer.
