Other than the general investigation, was there any specific search or event that occurred in the days just prior to KAK's 2/23/17 Samsung factory reset? Something which could have prompted him to do that? Maybe the 2/22/17 press conference where the audio clip was released?

If a tip about him as a local creep came in early, then LE might have already made contact with him; he may have been attempting to hide his crimes related to soliciting underage girls.

Do we have any full-body pictures of Kline from early 2017? Unless his weight has doubled since then, he couldn't be BG.

I apologize if I didn’t understand what you were trying to say.
Your original post said “We have heard nothing so far to connect Kline to the Delphi murders”.
You are right, LE has not named him a POI.
I was responding to the original post and the fact that the initial bulletin was put out by the Delphi Investigative team and in itself, in my opinion, that points to the fact that they think the anthony_shots profile and KAK are connected in some way to Delphi. If LE did not think so, almost five years after the murders, I think some other part of ISP would have issued that bulletin.

I follow your logic, but I don't agree with it. If the Delphi investigation uncovered Kline's crimes, then it makes sense to me that they would issue the bulletin and take the credit regardless of whether they thought that Kline had any involvement in the Delphi murders.

It goes without saying that they would need to attempt to rule him out (or rule him in) just like they would need to do with any sexual predator who was targeting underage girls.

I agree, I think just a tip that he was actively involved in soliciting other young teen females in Indiana, possibly even attempting meetups would be enough to alert LE in regard to him being a possible suspect in the Delphi murders and thus seek out a search warrant. Unfortunately it appears that was a lead that didn’t pan out at the time.

I believe that photo may have been taken right before his house was raided in February 2017. He had just returned from a trip to Las Vegas with his dad and that photo is definitely of Hoover Dam.

... another perp was waiting and ready to pounce on those poor girls on the other side. They worked in tandem to overpower those poor girls and probably had weapons, possibly knives. It’s really horrible to think but they could have gagged them and tied up their hands. It doesn’t seem possible that’s one killer was able to pull this all off.

I also suspect that killers have done something like this before and hope that LE is looking for similar unsolved murders in other places, starting in Vegas. AMOO

A second murderer goes a long way to explaining the control of the girls, and it might even be part of the arrival/exit scenario, too. But I hadn't considered tasers before--Stattlich just mentioned that up-thread? I don't know anything about them but tasers sound like a possible way one killer got both girls quiet and controlled without a fuss. :-(

The more I learn about this case and the more I think about it, the more I loathe the person or people responsible. :-(

One undeniable fact is that KAK allegedly wrote himself an alibi on Facebook by changing the date on his Vegas employment, which he never worked at that casino in Vegas as has been clearly debunked. His entire profile except being affiliated with IN was fake. [...]
There's no normal reason for editing that day's employment if not for being coincidentally the date of the dbl homicides, FEB 13, 2017. There are no coincidences in murder investigations.

Yes, what I saw on what I was told was KAK's FB page was one empty boast or baseless claim after another. Sad, IMO. And there's no denying that the 2/13/17 false employment date looks very obviously like an attempt to create an alibi.

So on that topic, do you remember the photo apparently posted by KAK's father AT? It's the middle of this three-photo compilation (sorry for the lousy quality, it was a rush job) https://kuzenski.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/kak-sizes-01.jpg So, the middle photo is dated August 2018, and it says basically "my son--who hasn't been here in Indiana for two years." Just MHO and MOO and maybe I'm being overly suspicious, but doesn't that sound like Dad trying to alibi Junior by pretending he wasn't in Indiana (in February 2017) when we know he was? Suspicious? JMHO: heck, yes.

The statement about there not likely being a link to SM was early on and ,if memory serves , may have been stood by up until a couple of years ago.

The investigation is fluid , and things can and do change.

IMO, when the new investigator took over in 2020, he found links that where missed previously.

And so it goes- sometimes an investigation changes course because a new piece of evidence is uncovered.

I'm not saying he is; one reason for thinking KAK isn't BG is that the police apparently didn't think KAK was involved, back in 2017 when they talked to him. But in that photo he's definitely BG size and body shape.

I've bored others with this before, but if KAK went on high-dose steroids for an inflammatory disease or process, that could easily account for the large weight gain, rounded face, and humped shoulders we see in the 2020 booking photo. And steroids can also promote mood swings, violence, and irrational behavior. Again, I'm not saying KAK *is* BG but I feel certain (JMHO) that he COULD have been.

Yes, plus I notice LE almost always preface their statements with the words “we believe” or “we don’t believe”. Iirc that statement was also.

We surely all know what one believes is always subject to change because it’s often reflected by our own comments here as well.

Even in that picture he looks much pudgier to me than BG; I would need to see a full-body picture from early 2017 to rule him out, though.
