His trip to the dump occurred hours before the girls were dropped off for an afternoon hike along the Monon High Bridge Trail east of Delphi.
“Everybody’s thinking he’s the guy. He doesn’t even fit the description at all,” said a neighbor named Angie who fought back tears after the sentencing. “People on social media cannot understand even though law enforcement has said over and over that he is not a suspect, not connected to the murders, and why he’s in jail but they don’t accept that. They keep saying he’s in jail because of that.”

Something I've wondered about but haven't seen much discussion about is RLs friend/neighbor who spoke on camera w RL. iirc RL is discussing the place the girls were found and how it's hard to get to etc and the friend iirc says something about "that's why we wanted to show you"

I thought he was but do not trust my memory. Does anyone else remember if RLs friend( from the following link) the same neighbor (searcher) who found the CS on RLs property.

Q: Have the police came out and said positively that the man in the photo and the sketch is the Killer, or simply their main suspect at this time?

The reason I ask.....

In another case I was following a few years ago .... They found a murdered childs decomposed body beside a hwy inside a suitcase.

There were reports from a number of Witnesses who had observed an elderly man in the area on a number of occasions carrying a suitcase.

So the media focus and police focus at this time was all for looking for this "stranger"

So a few months of effort by police and a few sluething here on WS took place .........

Who is this strange man witnessed carrying a suitcase ..... there seemed to be no other leads.

It wasn't until a random tip came in that the case was solved ....

It turns out the random stranger carrying a suitcase in the area had absolutely nothing to do with it.....


And he was never located even though the news story was a bit of a deal at the time.

I suppose Im asking is it possible BG has nothing to do with the murders?

They called him a suspect early on and made some reference iirc that he participated in the crime. It will be in the media thread in a press release.

I was just looking at satellite map imagery of Delphi. Can someone help me understand - is that a working railroad track that is just north of W 300 and Deer Creek? I am trying to figure out if it is part of the Norfolk Southern railway system. It seems to run just north and parallel to Deer Creek and the crime scene? It looks like train cars are sitting on the tracks in Google map imagery.

It also doesn't get solved by completely ignoring the time from the moment they were taken, to the time they were found. There is no getting away from the route they took. It's actually critical information, in this case, and in almost all cases.

How can you even discuss any of what happened without considering the actual events of the day? If his pants were wet in the picture, that's pretty critical no? They are dry. That's very telling. No?

Someone put themselves into the perp's head, and described what it might be like walking through brush with no leaves on it. Yes, now take that a step further... it's too see through and doesn't cover sound. You need to go somewhere more remote.

Why would you risk losing them in the creek or crossing a cold creek in the winter? Because you have gone too far, and if you don't cross that creek, then you get caught.

That is called profiling. That is called sleuthing.

"If his pants were wet in the picture"? Do you mean the picture on the bridge? That is before the crime. Why would they be wet then?

Maybe he meant to keep them under the bridge as a hidden place to assault them (garments found there?) but they got away, crossed creek, he was then in freezing water, his pent up urges foiled (result of icy water) so he killed them in fury, sexual frustration and to silence them. Thoughts?

That is a possibility Imo. Weren't there also some sneakers photographed under the bridge in one article ?

I believe RL not being a suspect is also mentioned in the interview transcribed by Spellbound. I've read at least three articles that make it very clear RL is not a suspect. LE reps state this. Google it.

Yes that's right. "Still involved" and "not a suspect in the murders". IMO he is a possible witness and is involved due to his property being a CS. There isn't much more to say really without LE giving away their witnesses.

I keep popping in to see whats happening and i have this case on google alert .Like so many others i just want this to be solved so badly..Im thinking of all the theories floating around and how i've flip flopped about what could have happened but I still think its one killer and its BG..noone else. I think hes very familiar with the area through family or work and its a SA motive. Two teenage girls are nothing if you have a weapon . If one escapes you still get to do what you wanted and then disappear which is why I dont think anyone in Delphi is currently familiar with this man but he knows Delphi well.
In my mind it was off the bridge, cross the river and all over very quickly. i do believe the girls put up a struggle but they didnt have a chance. He was lucky all the way.. Back to the car which was parked in the cemetery and gone, so BG is not in Indiana anymore. He has a police record- nothing big but the lack of serious charges does not mean this is his first rodeo. When he is apprehended I think it will solve quite a few currently unsolved cases not necessarily confined to the mid west
I could be so wrong here and i hope i get the chance very very soon to find out that i am because the actual truth about this heinous crime is known to us all. I want the families to receive the justice they so richly deserve and this " man" to sit behind bars where he belongs..jmo

It's also confirmed in the media thread the voice is that of BG. I saw that when going through yesterday.

The only thing I do not understand about the possibility of a vehicle is why no details of it and why no info from traffic cams, dash cams, cctv etc?
