Comparing actions in the 3 cases... I thought the search warrant was probably on the house on Old Orchard but since I see Angulo was not (seemingly) a part of that, I don't know what to think.

I wonder why the subpoenas are mostly in the Owen case. Angulo has a Subpoena Duces Tecum and Murz has none.

A request for a search warrant was granted on April 15 and entered into the Owen and Murz cases but not into Angulo's. The motion for joinder of defendants was filed on May 4.

This is speculation on my part that this L is the same L as the one who gave a deposition on April 19. He had connections to the areas mentioned in the press release I snipped/quoted below and the timing is right.

I was curious about the Lowry subpoena so I searched that name + arrested drugs and found an article about a big drug bust in LaGrange, IN. in Feb. 2020. A person by that name, along with 9 others, were arrested. Two of the busted were from Elkhart and one was from Sturgis, MI.

Lowry, a woman and one of the Elkhart men were charged with F2 drug dealing. Unfortunately, LaGrange cases are in Doxpop but not the Indiana site with free access and I've used up my 6 free Doxpop cases.

I just now caught the dates on the subpoenas. I wonder why Lowery's is dated 2/26? Porter's is for the jury trial date so I assume he's going to appear in person.

Conference is over; the next one is scheduled for March 11. The depositions are the only thing (at this time) that may hang things up. Lowry's is being taken tomorrow and Porter has finally been located.

Porter's been busy... warrants out and transfers from Michigan. Atty Dixon was concerned that they wouldn't even be able to get a transfer for him so he thought the prosecutor would have a better chance to get it all done in time for Mar 11.

VINE shows Porter is in LaGrange jail. Doxpop has his case; he was charged with F6 Auto theft on 1/13/2021. Extradition expenses were filed yesterday.

What about these 2 other cases for Murzynski?

*Charged (5/4/20) with domestic battery by means of a deadly weapon. #20C01-1911-F5-000274

*Charged with driving while suspended, knowing violation & prior conviction w/in 10 years. 20C01-1910-CM-001745

Same date - 3/11/21?
 
I think they are included in this same case; I heard the judge call some numbers that I wasn't familiar with and I'm assuming it was those. I got confused. :oops: One of the attorneys was new and another couldn't stay connected and the judge was talking back and forth between them. Owen's attorney had a background (big poster?) of dogs sitting in witness chairs, which I thought was really comical.

Welcome to Websleuths! That must have been a shock for you. Since we are so close to the trial date, I don't anticipate any info coming out but if we find any, we'll post it.

In case you didn't notice, there is a link at the top of each page where you can "watch thread". It will give you the option of how to watch and then, when we post on this thread, you will get an 'alert' which is located up by your name. There is also an Inbox located up there where you can start private conversations if you want.

Elkhart courts live stream their cases and anyone can watch. If they go through with the jury trial, we'll likely hear all the details.
