Plead not guilty. $500K Cash bond.

8/30/21: Probable Cause Affidavit filed; Order Denying: Motion for Appointment of Special Prosecutor Pursuant to I.C. 33-39-10-2(b)(3). 9/1/21 Update: Initial hearing for murder charge on 9/3/21.
9/3/21 Update: Miller will be appointed an attorney but the judge said he would have to see which one had the time & would be willing to take on this case. Competency was also a high priority. JM pleaded not guilty & that becomes formal after 20 days. Prosecution asked for No Bond, quoting the statute regarding the proof is evident or the presumption is strong. The judge kept it at $500K cash. She also asked for a gag order but the judge was not ready to make a ruling on that. The Omnibus date is 10/20/21 & the judge set trial dates of Dec 6, Jan 17 & Feb 14, noting he had to block out a week for the trial & he wanted to be sure he had future options in case they weren't ready. JM verbally noted he wanted a fast & speedy trial.
9/10/21: Order granting request for search warrant for 3 T-Mobile cellular phones & 1 Verizon Wireless records. 9/15/21: Order granting request for search warrant; specific information held by Google. 9/21/21: Return on Search warrant filed on 9/24/21. 9/30/21: Notice of completion of court requirement: Discovery notice of compliance filed by State. 10/6/21: Discovery compliance-4 filed by State.
Charged (8/19/21) & arraigned (8/24/21) with felony neglect of a dependent resulting in death. $100K bond. Plead not guilty. Marshall County: Order Granting Motion to Dismiss.

I like that idea. I wondered for a minute if he took the blame from her and put it on himself, saying: "It was all my idea; she was opposed but I made her do it." However, that seemed way too noble.

I think so.

I searched a bit to see if there was any current news report but couldn't find anything. I wonder if the amended information filed by the state on 10/29 has something to do with the cancellations.
