*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 11am CT) – IN - Thomas Grill, Jr. (18) & Molley R. Lanham (19) (Feb. 25, 2019, St. John; found in Hebron, in burned out car) – for *John Salvadore Silva II (17/now 19) arrested & charged (5/22/20 with 2 felony counts of murder in the perpetration of a robbery. Plead not guilty. No bond.
Trial set to begin on 6/1/21 (9 days: 6/1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 & 17).

This paragraph below is from Niner's post #84. That part I bolded is interesting. I had no idea someone could alter a cellphone recording an a way that's unknown to FBI.

8/20/20 Update: On Thursday Porter Superior Court Judge Roger Bradford ruled to deny the motion to suppress the recordings as evidence. At the last hearing, the defense asked the judge to not present the recordings to jurors when the case goes to trial Oct. 6. A former FBI agent testified the cellphone recordings are not the originals & have been altered in some unknown ways. Porter County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Armando Salinas Jr. argued to keep the evidence, saying, in part, that the records were obtained from the iPhone of Silva, who will testify to their authenticity. Next status hearing on 8/31/20.
 
Kerner is working on an appeal; the brief is available.

The lie that unarmed TG tried to rob the small time pot dealer turned murderer really bothers me, that it is in the record with no one to defend him.
I believe it was Kerner doing the robbing. jmo

*Found several people recently found in burned vehicles, I will have to put a map together and see the updates on if anyone else has been charged in those cases.. interesting and sad..

He didn’t complete the “ultimate plan” this time, I think you need to look for someone missing from the area, including their car, that were never found.

“Kerner told the confidential informant that his ultimate plan was to “rent a U-Haul truck later and somehow get the car in it and dump it in the Mississippi River.” Kerner added that “he had done this before and knew how to cover up a murder and get away with it.”
