Here's something interesting: Caylee can count to 45 in spanish.
I took spanish in school and I can't do that. :rofl:

Maybe there was some sort of latino nanny or friend?

Per another post it does appear the Caylee news was splashed all over the local media 7/16AM, so there at least appears to be a legit means for she & Vicky to know about it when they contacted Matt C.

I found no evidence in the phone logs of contact between Casey and either Katie or Vicky.

A few curious things for me:
1) Obviously, IF Katie refused to speak w/ LE as has been reported, but, seemed to toss Vicky under the bus to LE there must be some reason. Perhaps it has nothing to do w/ this case, but, certainly sent up a flag that there could be more. Everyone has hit on this one. :waitasec:

2) I have seen pics of Vicky on her myspace site. I have NOT seen pics of Katie. Vicky was in pics of St. Patty's party @ Lake Vaj this year. Dunno if Katie was in any of those pics. Maybe they know each other from hs, but, don't hang/party together. Casey doesn't appear in St. Patty pics. Vicky and another girl are in "bday" pics w/ Sean D. & Danny C. @ TGIF (recall ZFG's roomie worked there). Perhaps in Casey's eyes Vicky was sorta competition for the Lake Vaj guys' attention. IMHO, absent ANY cell contact to support it, they don't appear to be "friends"...just know each other from hs and party w/ the same crowd. IF Casey disliked/was jealous of Vicky...that might be the motive for using her as a template.

3) Dante is in the St. Patty's party pics (asleep w/ eh, "artwork" being done on his face). Dante claimed, IIRC, that he didn't know anyone else @ Sawgrass that was a friend of Casey's. IF my speculation in (2) is correct, this would support Dante's claim. Maybe the Vicky-Casey connection was so loose, or, perhaps they were sorta rivals, hence, Dante might not connect them as "friends".

I just went back and read the tow truck mgrs interview (pg 809-810)) he says that when he woke up around "sixish" on July 16th and it was all over the news. That's when he put 2 and 2 together about the garbage bag. He goes on to say that after digging for the bag, he called OCSO and they told him that they had came during the night with GA and got the bag.

So, it sounds like it was actually on the news early morning of July 16th. Also, by the time they went to the tow yard to get the bag; they had already been to Sawgrass.

So, I don't see anything, according to the docs, that's hinkey--unless I'm missing something altogether. BUT...the myspace and facebook connections are puzzling...ITA I don't think it's a coincidence...but, I haven't found anything to contradict their statements.

I went back and re-read Simon B. interview with LE. It is a little confusing as to the days he is takling about. He has the day that OCSO had them come and tow the car from the A's home off by one day but he specifically states Thursday morning which would be July 17th that he saw the news and put 2 and 2 together and went dumpster diving to try and find the garbage bag.

He already new that the car had been towed again via one of his drivers that his yard had been called to come and pick up the car and tow it to the crime lab. Simon says it was later in the day, meaning the same day GA and CA picked up the car, but he is a day off. OCSO did not have the car picked up until July 16. Casey was arrested about 4:30PM on July 16th. I know there is a reference to the actual time the car was towed but I cannot find the doc it states it on. It was a little less than 24 from when OCSO missing person got the case.

“And uh, later that evening our company, because we tow for OCSO to come and pick up the Anthony car and take it to the crime lab” My driver called me and “Hey that car we released today…. the one with the smell…..I’m picking it up right now.”

That is Sarah and Shannon, respectively. Sarah is the former girlfriend of Sean D, IIRC. Interestly, there is a pic floating around of KC and Annie D at the Cowboy Bar with a rather explicit message for Sarah.

Maybe Caysee took one of her classes. She works at Universal sometimes (doing shows) so they must've lived close. I find the similarities odd but it could be a coincidence.

The whole A family said that Caylee could count to 35 (was it?) in Spanish...perhaps that was a favorite show of hers? And KC watched it with her?

Vicky has met Casey at ONE party, they are not friends, they are not acquaintances, they are nothing. They do not talk, they do not call, they do not text, they simply do NOT know each other.

Im going to cut this dumb conspiracy theory short. You people come up with conspiracies and situations regarding my friends constantly. Because im getting sick and ****ing tired of having a good friend (in this case Vicky), call me out of the blue upset saying that people on the internet are connecting her with Casey and Caylees dissapearance. What gives you a ****ing right to slander people online? When I google myself or my friends, the things people say about us on the internet is disgusting and disheartening. I am getting sick and tired of this, Caylee is dead, she is found, Casey is going to jail for the next 300 years, let this go and stop dragging people who knew her through the dirt.

People need to apply a little common sense to this case and stop making it more complicated than it is. Who in their right mind would help Casey either commit or hide such a crime? Does anyone really believe there was someone so close to Casey...so loyal...that he/she would help and keep quiet?

Read through the interview transcripts. Her friends are both flabbergasted and mortified. No one is being evasive - they are all trying to help.

Casey did this by herself. There was an accident and she tried to cover it up.

Maybe Casey thought it was safer to use information from a "friend of a friend" rather than from someone who would be quickly identified and connected with her.

Frankly, I'm really surprised at that article...it doesn't seem as though the writer researched the Anthony case thoroughly and worse, that the editor didn't catch the (at least 3 that I can see) inconsistancies that it contains.

Do we know if LE ever did talk to VickiA? They never went into it in detail in the investigative reports, and I am sure we have not seen an actual interview-But since she is on the witness list, it would seem she will be deposed soon, no?

Very interested in finding out whether this is something to go on, or if this is yet another eery coincidence (and there have been some crazy coincidences in this case!) If Vicki says that KC had been by her place at Sawgrass recent to the murder, it would splain a little bit, I would love it if she held the key to the Zenaida/Sawgrass connection somehow.
