This means a lot to me.
James vanished on 5/6 and hasn’t been found since. His car, wallet, keys and phone were all left behind at his home. No video footage from surrounding neighborhoods or businesses have come forward with anything.
We assume he walked to whatever destination he was going to…a father of two and a really great man.

I live not far from y'all- North -twenty miles-
You maybe not want to answer this publicly; that's okay. Was James going through some challenges ( personal or business)? You mentioned he left all his personal belongings, including his wallet, cell phone, Credit cards, and bank information. I feel silly asking some of these questions -that probably have been asked and answered: are you or have you been able to look backward and reverse engineer his movements before disappearance

His leaving on foot had me check to see if that was by choice or perhaps he didn't have a vehicle. I found he was arrested in 2023 for DUI (3rd of more). https://bustednewspaper.com/texas/d...31218/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook This arrest was far more than his third. https://texas.arrests.org/Arrests/James_Dussing_13316271/

That's just two counties, there may be more.

Here is a booking photo for one of the previous DUIs (back in 2007). He listed the Macy Lane address back then as well. https://texas.arrests.org/Arrests/James_Dussing_13316271/ Denton county requires a fee to view criminal records so no further info there.

It's likely had no driving privileges due to multiple DUI and if not already sentenced for felony repetition DWI, he would likely be facing incarceration if found guilty of the DUI in Dec. 23.

County Records show his occupational drivers license was revoked in 2023 prior to the Dec DUI arrest. https://odyssey.tarrantcounty.com/PublicAccess/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=5581526

In a check of further records in Turrant County - there's a record for a James Dussing, no middle name, on Macy Lane in Fort Worth issued an Eviction Notice on May 5, 2024 the day he shows as missing. But the court record shows that said Mr. Dussing was SERVED with said eviction notice on May 14. Macy Street is within the Crawford Farms neighborhood where the missing man lived so I'm pretty certain this is him. https://odyssey.tarrantcounty.com/PublicAccess/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=5797549

NOTE: The Turrant County database allows for a search of civil cases and Class C misdemeanor - so I had no luck verifying any felony information related to the DUI arrest reported in Dec. 2023.

Map of Crawford Farms - Macy Lane. is near the top of the neighborhood: Google Maps

There's an application of protective order against James A. Dussing (DOB 9-82) on record for 20212, charges of attempting to drive vehicle without interlock device, and alcohol abuse and violence allegations along with separate divorce documents. Response(s) - to Application for Protective Order and Request for Ex Parte Relief March 25, 2021 NOTE: some of the documents have more info available to view than others (to get a full copy you have to subscribe but you can get the basics by opening each document).

I have an immediate family member who struggled with alcoholism and what the family went through with that was difficult but it can be SO overwhelming to the person with the disease. Fortunately the person in my family got sober and was a great parent and family member until their death many years later from something not related to alcohol - let's hope James can find his way to some assistance. For the struggle with alcohol is indeed a disease, and the person needs help however we can give it.

The Crawford Farms neighbourhood from where he left is urban, one house next to the other. If I got it right on google maps. How is it possible thatnthere is no surveillance footage helping to give an idea in which direction he went ? There is so little information on this case

My exact thoughts!! It’s frustrating and so sad because there’s nothing to go off of.
