His leaving on foot had me check to see if that was by choice or perhaps he didn't have a vehicle.
I found he was arrested in 2023 for DUI (3rd of more).

That's just two counties, there may be more.
Here is a booking photo for one of the previous DUIs (back in 2007).
He listed the Macy Lane address back then as well.

It's likely had no driving privileges due to multiple DUI and if not already sentenced for felony repetition DWI, he would likely be facing incarceration if found guilty of the DUI in Dec. 23.
County Records show his occupational drivers license was revoked in 2023 prior to the Dec DUI arrest.

In a check of further records in Turrant County - there's a record for a James Dussing, no middle name, on Macy Lane in Fort Worth issued an Eviction Notice on
May 5, 2024 the day he shows as missing. But the court record shows that said Mr. Dussing was SERVED with said eviction notice on
May 14. Macy Street is within the Crawford Farms neighborhood where the missing man lived so I'm pretty certain this is him.

NOTE: The Turrant County database allows for a search of civil cases and Class C misdemeanor - so I had no luck verifying any felony information related to the DUI arrest reported in Dec. 2023.

Response(s) - to Application for Protective Order and Request for Ex Parte Relief March 25, 2021 NOTE: some of the documents have more info available to view than others (to get a full copy you have to subscribe but you can get the basics by opening each document).
I have an immediate family member who struggled with alcoholism and what the family went through with that was difficult but it can be SO overwhelming to the person with the disease. Fortunately the person in my family got sober and was a great parent and family member until their death many years later from something not related to alcohol - let's hope James can find his way to some assistance. For the struggle with alcohol is indeed a disease, and the person needs help however we can give it.
