"you know what gets to me..people would rather believe that 2 non-violent-non perverted parents did this to her than to embrace the probabilty that a pedophile did it who has confessed to parts of the crime and who has prior charges that he ran from..he also knows jon benet and was in love with her..but people would rather continue accusing upstanding people even when the evidence has pointed away from them for years.

it makes no sense to doubt and that a pedophile did it in favor of 2 adults with no background of violence or abuse..over bed wetting non the less.

its incredulous to me - it really is."

I'm just watching how it plays out, newtv.

"I understand..I dont have anything against those who thot the ramseys were guilty-but in the face of an alternative they still prefer the ramseys to a proven perp?? Thats when i get crazy..its no longer even logical-its personal."

Proven? That remains to be seen.

"and what really fries me is ther he is saying he did it-and people are still doubting him-I mean why would anyone set that up?"

Well, some of the things he admits to don't wash. He said he drugged JB. No drugs were found in her system. He said he had sex with her. No semen was found, no evidence of penile penetration, no DNA inside her.

"newtv, you are so very wrong. Many of us have followed the evidence, along with the F.B.I. C.B.I. other high profile professionals and the evidence led us to someone in the house that night. Someday I might record a DVD that shows all the evidence backed up by the facts. This isn't the guy. Michael Tracey is involved. Wherever Tracey is slim is sure to follow."

She's right, newtv. It wasn't just the "they shouldn't have done that" stuff either.

"perhaps tomorrow we can all go over what makes us point to someone in the house."

I'm game right now!

Here:

-Fibers from Patsy's clothes found on the tape, in the tray and tied into the ligature

-Fibers from John's shirt in her panties.

-The testimony of chronic genital abuse by Drs. McCann, Wecht, Krugman, Rau, Jones and Monteleone.

-That no one, not even Patsy's own examiners could rule her out as the note writer, whereas several top-field experts said she did write it.

-undisturbed webs on the window grate

-lack of disturbance on the window itself

Need I go on?

"how do u explain his confession?
if its proven to be true-it wasnt the ramseys?"

Let's watch.

"and it isnt the ramseys now-they are presumed innocent
If this pervert is presumed so, surely patsy should garner the same right."

No one says otherwise.

"newtv, someday I'll go over everything but I can tell you that John and Patsy have hurt people, innocent people, people that I care about, in some very awful ways. The Ramseys had no problem naming innocent people as murder suspects. Just ask their former best friends the Whites. John and Patsy went on TV Jan.1st 1997 asking for the public's help in finding the killer. I volunteered for their effort. What I have seen since then has proven to me that the Ramseys are cold and heartless. I would have no problem saying to their face too. Cold, heartless, and likely not innocent. IMO"

She's right again.

"For JonBenet, I don't want it to have been like that...but some experts did say there was definitely prior abuse."

Sadly, yes.

"And that he staged fiber evidence.."

Yeah, how did he put on their clothes?

"The autopsy stated chronic and acute vaginal inflammation. chronic ranging from last 48-72 hours. not innuendo"

Just straight up.

"right, & that he knew how to make it look like Patsy wrote the ransom note..."

Yeah.

havent slept all night from watching this so i hope i make sense anyway. wont there be all kinds of things his defense atty can do for him in leiu of him confessing on national tv (no lawyer present), does anyone know if hes lawyered up at all? im almost certain that if they find him guilty he will get the insanity defense (i mean arent most pedos insane?) im worried that if they dont handle this confession and arrest over the next few days the right way all kinds of things and evidence will get thrown completely out of the trial (if there ever is one). could this be some kind of ploy (assuming hes guilty) that hes allready planned to say and do certain things so that he can look crazy? i could go on and on, as you all have, i have a miriad of questions myself. they will soon lock all the info down on this case, gag orders in place, and we wont get to know much of anything for several weeks. ( im thinking)

I am one who will stand up for Jayelles.

I've been here with Jay for 7 years and I have never witnessed any judging comments. She has never ascribed to a Ramsey-did-it theory. She has questioned some of their actions post-murder, as have I, however, that doesn't make her "judging" in my opinion. She has been quick to come through with facts about the case whether it exonerated the Ramseys, or implicated them. I would say that Jayelles is a fair and consistent poster and looks at all angles.

Absolutely. Jayelles may have been frustratingly impartial at times, but she has never jumped to conclusions about the Rs' involvement in the death of JBR.

As for Wudge's assertion that it is somehow "indecent" to question the Rs' behavior after the death of their daughter, that's just ridiculous. There's no question that the Rs hindered the BPD investigation. Whether they were justified and/or wise to do so, is very much open to discussion, even among "decent" people.

People please do not get worked up by his sying he fell in love with JBR.How many of us during the Laci missing used those exact words about how we felt about Laci? WHen you do research on cases you tend to fall in love with that person.

I don't know who or what this is , but found this link searching karr's name, I just needed to post it someplace.

This is a list of local and national organizations which are ... [size=-1]... Gay Men of African Descent gmad@aol.com Generic Leather Productions of Washington (John Karr) scooter@stage.com Grassroot QUEERS (Philadelphia, ...

His saying he had sex - that term is used to include lots of different things - not necessarily intercourse - and there was evidence of sexual abuse having happened just prior to death. His alibi - he has two conflicting alibis - that's bad. That sounds like everyone who loves him just automatically giving him an alibi without thinking if it is true. Yeah, the two locations may be relatively close, but if he was going between the two houses, the other party shouldn't have been able to be certain where he was the full time - but they both claim him full time! Drugs - roofies are nearly indetectable, only recently have they found ways to detect it sometimes - back then, it wouldn't have been detected.

As to the 'researching a book' - he's not been really researching a book - there's nothing saying he was writing a book (easy enough to prove - drafts, and after 10 years, there should be a lot of them!) - it's just the lie used by a pedophile to help his family stay in denial.

Yep, they need to pull everything available from the families from 96 together and see if he shows up in photos, videos, receipts, phone bill, bank deposits, checks cashed etc. Everyone gets a paycheck that has to be signed and deposited. I would start withthe phone bill and charge card bills.

Man this guy is weird on camera. I noticed very sudden changes in his facial expressions. Like emotional collisions.

If this guy did what he said he did, I still have this feeling, that someone facilitated the opportunity for Karr to enter the Ramsey house.

He seems like the type of person who is nitpicky about details. Perhaps this is what has ultimately undermined his ability to fly under the radar. Ego seems to out a lot of people, in the end. Perhaps he felt compelled to email that journalism professor, and correct some of the statements or assumptions that were presented in the documentaries. And similarly with Patsy; Karr wanted her to get it right, and shared his "theory" or feelings. He strikes me as someone who can't stand it, when he knows something, and other people keep getting the facts wrong. This would be consistant with the persona of "teacher" or person-of-authority that he appears to desire.

It would seem that Karr has spent some time thinking about the eventuality of being caught, and what he would claim (i.e. "it was an accident").

If Karr turns out to be a pedo-nut case, and the connection seems to be in his head, I'm going to speculate that he wanted to show the world how law enforcement's judgement can be persuaded and clouded, in the best of circumstances. Which would be the last chapter of his sick little book.

 Can anyone tell me if he was in prison in bangkok for something he did there and also what would happen if he is taken back to the USA and he is proven to be lying ,would he be sent back?

They don't want him there and revoked his visa, he can't go back....even if he wanted to.

This all makes sense to me. I think you are right about details haveing to be correct. Does anyone remember a sighting of someone wearing a baseball cap walking a long the street on the day of the murder? Just seem to vaguely remember something about this in a posting or some such.

Aussie, he was not arrested nor was he in prison. My understanding from Thai newspapers, is that he was/is being deported, as he is an "undesirable" person. And U.S. agents are there to collect and escort him to U.S.

And who decides what is undesirable? My guess is that U.S. agents let them know of the ongoing investigation for murder, and that Karr was wanted in connection with this murder.
