I can't understand that. While I was kinship, and not a real foster parent, every dime I had went to those kids. When I finally got TANF for them, I first brought my utilities current, then after that, every single penny was spent on them. Clothes, shoes, hygiene items, all the things they had been without for years. Things they went without even in "foster care" because I had to wait for the TANF because I lived in poverty myselfThis is so suspicious. CPS always tries to find a family member willing to take the child before adopting out to strangers. I'm concerned.
Some foster kids get kicked out at 18 because the reimbursement drops down at that age. Foster "parents" literally kick out the old and bring in a younger foster kid because they bring more money into the house. Love was never the point, just passive income.
So I hate seeing foster parents using these kids for income, it's so wrong.
