That is pretty interesting. I was looking at the Kansas River near Bonner Springs area on google earth, I have never seen so many sand bars so close together like that before. I would have thought they could have narrowed down the age of it a little closer though. Maybe when they study it more they will be able to.
 
For posterity in case links are lost, the bone was taken to Wyandotte County Coroner's Office.

The case isn't in Namus and I cannot see any MSM updates. However in Namus there are only a handful of Kansas MPs listed who have been missing "decades" and quite a few of them are children, not older males.
