Previous Namus checks have shown no ruleouts - I don't have an account but maybe someone who does could check?
If only there was a photo associated with this case, this was about two hours from Wichita with an acceptable timeline.

Authorities Fail To Find Leads to Missing Camper
No ruleouts as of 28 Aug 2016. No wonder it's listed as extremely low probability of identification.
Wrapped in towels, bedsheets and "waterbed pad," per NamUs. Who used a waterbed in 1994?
Have you heard anything back yet? James Cole is still the only exclusion listed.Sent this one in today everything matches height, hair etc but no photo of him but it would make sense he was in Oklahoma it would only take him or someone else two hours to get to Sedgwick County which the county seat is Wichita Kansas. Also he was last seen near the Arkansas river well the little Arkansas river goes through Wichita. Little Arkansas River - Wikipedia
According to Charley Project, Jack sustained serious head injuries from a hammer a month before he went missing. I imagine that if the UID had evidence of head injuries, it would have been noted (the UID is said to have no evidence of current or healed broken bones). Also, it seems Jack's family believes he was killed over a drug debt -- if that's true, I can't see the killer(s) driving over 16 hours to dispose of the body when there is an abundance of extremely remote areas right outside of Salt Lake City. Some new attention being brought to this case:
I ran a fresh search through Namus just now for missing individuals matching the description in the months before this UID was found. There are no particularly strong results in the states of Kansas or Oklahoma. I searched nationwide and thought this one was interesting; I don't recall finding it before. Thoughts?

In the video at the link I shared, they mentioned that they believed the death was homicide by head trauma. Since it was months before the remains were found, this made me wonder if the head trauma could actually have been prior to death.According to Charley Project, Jack sustained serious head injuries from a hammer a month before he went missing.
