OMG!!! I just came across Carl’s case 2 days ago!! I made the mistake of not saving the link and kept coming up with a Carl Holland missing from Ohio when I tried to find it again!! How ironic is that? It was his height and age that caught my eye too. I even searched for a photo of him (no luck) to get an idea of what he looked like. I’m with you, the older the case is, the more room there is for error IMO. I’m gonna add him to the sheet for possibles. Wow... great minds

He may have been floating face up with his mouth closed. There also may have only been small amounts stuck to his teeth.

That may mean that he went in the water not far upstream, because I figured that going through a lock/dam would be violent enough to knock something like that out of his mouth. If what I'm thinking is true, he could have floated down the Licking or Little Miami Rivers.

I couldn't find anyone missing from upstream near that time, much less anyone fitting the vitals.
