This guy is too close to me for comfort. I couldn't find a thread on him, so please merge if one exist.

Police are still searching for a man accused of shooting and injuring a Tennessee police officer, and then firing at state troopers in Cumberland County Saturday night.

Kentucky State Police spokesman Billy Gregory said several law enforcement agencies are searching for Floyd Ray Cook, who fled into hilly, wooded countryside along the border of the two states.

He's courting suicide by cop, I suspect. Bad feeling this will escalate before he's caught.

From the first article above:

Cook was last seen driving a Black 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck with Kentucky tag #091HCS.

The truck has an extended cab with a tool box in the bed and chrome running boards and a blue University of Kentucky Wildcat license plate on the front of the vehicle.

Hopefully he doesn't get desperate and involve civilians. I look forward to good news with NO injuries to LE or the general public!

ALGOOD, Tenn. - Authorities said they believe the suspect who shot an Algood police officer has barricaded himself inside a home in the Hendricks Creek Marina area in Burkesville, Kentucky.

The suspect, 62-year-old Floyd Ray Cook, allegedly pulled a gun Sunday on a young person in Kentucky.

Officials said a teenager went to his dad’s house near Russell Spear Road in Burkesville, Kentucky. That’s when Cook came out of the woods, told the teen to stay in his car, and pulled a gun on him.

Police cornered Cook on a nearby road and have since released details saying they believe he is barricaded inside that home. They said no one else was in the home.
