MONROE -- Ouachita Parish sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who was last seen leaving work early Wednesday, saying he was sick.

Kenneth Emory, 52, was last seen at Graphic Packaging in Ouachita Parish. Sheriff's investigators said Emory told co-workers he was sick.

Emory has relatives living in the Shreveport-Bossier area.

His vehicle was found at his residence about 7 a.m. with the keys, his wallet and medication still inside.

Emory, who is married, is described as 5-foot-11, weighing 160 pounds with sandy colored hair and green eyes. He is bald on top with a gray beard. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a black pocket T-shirt, and dark-colored welding Georgia boots, sheriff's investigators said.

Anyone with information on Emory's whereabouts is asked to call the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Department in Monroe at (318) 329-1200.

According to his wife's facebook, he did not have a cell phone and his gps has been found in their home. Also, she states that the only thing missing from the car is his gun.

On Dec. 22, 2010, my husband Ken Emory went missing. He remains missing, but we continue to pray that he will be found. I am writing this letter to say thank you to my friends, family, neighbors, community and law enforcement for your overwhelming, heartfelt support. I could not have made it through that first month without the support of each of you.

I didn't know Emory, but this is where I grew up. If there were searches in the area where he was found I wonder if they used dogs. There is a SAR group currently headquartered nearby on Connie Young Rd.

It looks as though where Mr. Emory's body was located was only ~30 mins. from home/work.

Map pt. 1 - Caples Rd, B, LA 71292. - Loaction where Mr. Emory was found deceased.

Map pt. 2 - 2807 Cypress St, West Monroe, LA 71291. - Mr. Emory's home according to Namus map.

**I searched for an address to Graphic Packaging in W. Monroe, La. and found two addresses. I am not sure which, if either, is the location Mr. Emory left from to go home. Perhaps someone local can add their more accurate knowlege and better maps. :)

:) How often is the info in NamUs updated? Whose reposibility is that?

Not being critical at all here, rather I'm trying to understand how the system works. (Yes, I'm off to find that thread. I know it's here somewhere! :p).

It looks as though over a 10-year span Mr. Emory's DNA/dentals were compared to only 4 UID's. None of whom were from Louisiana! I realize that perhaps there wasn't DNA/dentals on file but I highly doubt that given he most likely had surviving family members. Especially if they're Cajuns--mais Cher ami, we luv us some big families, yeah!?! ;)

And LSU Faces lab right in their backdoor.?.

I'm just a bit confused. :(
