Her mother died 4 months later in January 1987 and her obituary is at Leona M. Thibodaux Boudreaux (1931-1987) - Find a.... The obituary lists Paula as one of 7 surviving children, but that may be in the absence of any evidence either way. Her father died in 2013 (obituary at Victor J. Boudreaux (1927-2013) - Find a Grave...) where Paula is listed as predeceasing him. I wonder what has led to such a late listing and what inquiries were made at the time.

She really looks like Slidell/Saint Tammany Parish Jane Doe to me! My heart skipped a beat until I realized she was found 2 months before Paula disappeared. Supposing that date is accurate.

New developments have come to light in a nearly 40-year-old cold case of a missing Golden Meadow woman

The St. Tammany Coroner identified the remains as Paula Boudreaux through DNA technology.
