Looks like this trial is delayed for at least another four months because of a ruling on a "device", which I believe is the phone his lawyer had possession of. Also, the prosecution doesn't plan on using the Toyota 4 runner at the trial...

Prosecutors do not plan to use the vehicle in the upcoming prosecution of Hernandez, Ward wrote. Fox Toyota, he wrote, “requires the return of its property prior to the closing on the sale of its dealership.” A closing date has not been set, court papers show.
Locke also set a May 3 court date to discuss Hernandez’s upcoming murder trial. The meeting is expected to take place after the Supreme Judicial Court hears arguments about a “device” that prosecutors and defense attorneys have been quarreling over.
Locke has put Hernandez’s trial on hold until issues concerning the item are resolved.

Judge finds Hernandez tipster unreliable
“I infer that, once Hernandez was convicted, the Source was highly motivated to do something that might help him win his release,” Garsh wrote. “The day after the guilty verdict was rendered, the Source contacted Sultan in order to convey information she thought would help Hernandez. She did not disclose her relationship with Hernandez.”
The woman was introduced to Hernandez through her father while both men were incarcerated at the Bristol County House of Correction, Garsh wrote.

Oh No. Is that going to hurt the State's case if they can't use the Toyota as evidence?
Also, what's with the phone?
