It's sounding like Trinitarios - it's a gut thing.
If they kidnapped her she may have gone into insulin shock and they dumped her someplace. Did JF actually get his drugs? I think LE is trailing him.

LE might be waiting to make an arrest so they can bring down the entire heroin sales team. I think that they will resolve this fairly quickly. After all, the players are especially clever.

Clever criminals? If people turn to crime it's cause they're not clever enough to do something else.

Yeah, it was eerie that way. Creep after creep, family members saying oh, he wouldn't hurt of mouse, with some exceptions, of course. This guys mom though, my jaw dropped that she just came out with such detail, to the effect but not exactly, 'oh he had the bad luck of raping a 13 year old girl and getting caught' and that's been so much trouble for him, but he hasn't done anything since.' The part that got to me though was her suggestion that the Mendez are doing something wrong trying to find Jaimee. "Just wait for the truth to come out." I do think he kind of hung himself so to speak with the "Item" interview. Maybe he thinks people will believe him.

The closest thing I've seen that comes to an answer on that is an exchange on the FB page where a poster asks the same question, and the admin responds that they don't know. He has had seven days to make plays to cast doubt on his involvement and he seems to be brazen like RT, who is still denying his guilt as he faces life in prison. I think this guy will go to his grave not admitting guilt, maybe that's why LE is taking their time gathering evidence and making the search a priority. This RSO is in a fish bowl, I assume, twisting in the wind, waiting for the other shoe to drop. If he scares people enough to have 8 restraining orders, maybe there are people who are scared to come forward, as he seems to violate them. One of the screenshot up thread with the perp pix is for violating a restraining order, the one with the long hair in the back.

I'd agree with you, but generally syndicates work hard to avoid attracting this kind of attention. The whole drug thing sounds like ruse. If it were a syndicate, and if Jaimee Mendez came to harm with them, they'd want her found asap, to make the story go away, especially if they were setting him up.

Yesterday LE suspended the search to regroup. Today there are no updates from LE/DA as to searching or what they have decided in terms of regrouping. The Find Jaimee FB page is suggesting people go out and search on their own with a buddy system but nothing organized.

I'm hoping officials make some sort of announcement today regarding the next steps or possible arrests. The weather seems down right COLD and next weeks weather is not promising especially for Jaimee or searching.

Sadly, I don't think the weather will matter much anymore. Aside from everything else, she was a non medicated diabetic.

Idk...in general, that area is well known for drug related activity. It's not called "Sin City" for nothing.

Her sister said it on FB right in the very beginning. Let me go get it.

This is also unsurprising to me for that area (Not Swampscott which is a affluent area, I mean the Lynn area which overall is low income.)

I hate to say it, but I am starting to think JF may not have been involved in this either. She obviously hung around shady people as it is... And she was involved with drugs. I still think she may have OD'ed and whoever she was with panicked. But, won't know for sure until more evidence is discovered.

That being said, something about that article with JF's interview struck me as odd. It said the family last saw her after 6:30? And he says he picked her up an hour prior to that. So if they did the deal, maybe she had someone else (the drug dealer maybe) take her home so she could grab stuff (like her phone charger), then they left together to go get high. Maybe that's who she was with when she placed the call (how could she have called someone while in JF's presence??). Just saying, we very well may be focusing our attention in the wrong direction.

Police search for missing Swampscott woman
(MyFoxBoston.com) -- State police and several local police departments have been searching the Salem/Lynn border for a missing person.

Family members on scene say 25-year-old Jaimee Mendez from Swampscott went missing on Thursday.

Salem Police confirm a large police presence on Swampscott Road, where mutual aid officers and a helicopter are assisting in the search for Mendez.

Police say that there is no danger to the public.

On Friday morning, police told the family they found Jamiee's jacket, cell phone, ID and charger in a wooded area near the Lynn/Salem line. Her family says Jamiee called a friend on Thursday night making a frantic plea for help.

Her CHARGER.

JF said she used his phone because hers was dying. If her phone was dying, she would have definitely wanted to go retrieve her charger before going anywhere else. Her family says they last saw her around 6:40. The timing makes perfect sense!

Right. I mean, he could have been the one who took her to the house to get her charger. Regardless, I think she did return home after the drug deal. It just makes sense, according to what we know at this point.

But I think I remember reading that usually she calls from her phone. Plus they did find her charger with some of her other belongings. I don't know out you, but I don't carry my charger around with me unless I know I'm going to be gone a long time (like over night). So if she was leaving for just a short while, it just doesn't make sense that she would have grabbed her charger also. But then again, I guess anything is possible.

I'd love to know what time she called her friends, and where she asked them to pick her up. According to reports, she never "showed up" at the agreed time and location, which tells me she asked her friend to pick her up from somewhere other than where she calling from.
