Lally is not a great lawyer. That's one thing I think we can almost all agree on.

He's fumbling his way towards good points with this witness, but sometimes it matters how you make your points.
How many, if any, teeth does an average, sort of, dog have?

What, if anything, did you notice about the uh, kinda, decedent's shirt?

And uh how many, if any, arms did John O'Keefe have?

And was that sort of, the same amount of arms you noticed in the photographs you reviewed?

Ha ha!

The state must’ve felt they had to try someone for JO’s death, or else there’s a cop killer roaming free. But still, how can you bring this to trial knowing that the nation (and beyond) will see how terribly this case was handled. SOP, basic things like evidence collection.. etc, screwed up terribly. What a mess.

Should have been. If only we had a solid chain of custody on the evidence and not 6 weeks where nobody knows for certain where it was.
But there was pig DNA the defense was perfectly fine with introducing?

C'mon. Everything in this trial can't be, "imagine if this other thing happened. What? No, I don't have any evidence it happened... but imagine if it did!"

We're talking about dog DNA. ANY dog DNA. We aren't trying to determine if it was Rover... Spot... or Clifford. There was none. Zero. Zilch. Not a single speck.

@JHall7news

Greene also looked at data from Karen Read’s phone and John O’Okeefe’s phone. He’s talking about whether O’Keefe’s location data can be accurate within 3 feet. Used the “cell hawk” program to test yesterday.

His test showed there were no results for accuracy within 3 feet in that area. He said if the test was 500 feet there would be lots of bubbles showing on the screen

The shirt was subject to countless contamination events imo and yes basically washed/soaked in water from melted snow. But on top of that we only just heard expert testimony re scratches and one glancing type bite according to DR Russell before she was cut off. There's no reason at all to assume "dog slobber" should have been all over the shirt. We just had an expert testify to the variance that exists in bite wounds, Part of experts' job is to attempt to dispell popular misconceptions about their subject material, stereotypical thinking and presumptions imo.
Swab location is important also. There was a rape case I was involved in (as prisoner escort) where the accused claimed the alleged victim gave him a BJ when they were on the couch and he was clothed, the victim claimed he came into the bedroom naked, and the prosecutor made a big deal out of no saliva or DNA found on his jeans. The case collapsed after the victim admitted to lying about the whole thing and when the jeans were returned to the accused, the swabs were cut from the bottom of the jean legs.

Green says iPhone health data show O'Keefe took 36 steps at about 12:31am.

Green says he found a Google search on Jen McCabe's phone for "hos long to die in cold" at 2:27am. (Prosecution witnesses have previously testified that's when the tab was opened, but not when the search was performed.)
