Ok, I have no problem with posing those possibilities but I do have a problem with the body not having been found in the subsequent searching that was done. If she wandered off then why was she not found? It isn't a wilderness for her to get lost in and the alarm was raised and people looked for her alot. Have you looked at maps and do you have any bridges in mind for the body dump that are within range for the parents that night and that have not been searched or had people walking the area to find a body if one had been dumped?

One would think too, that if you thought your one child was kidnapped that you'd shake the others awake to make sure they were ok.

But Km supposedly RAN BACK to the Tapas restaurant to tell GM that Madeleine had been kidnapped and when they returned to the room, the twins were asleep in their cribs.
The search the LE organised was not extensive enough imo. The search was not long or wide enough, the dogs they brought in were not there long enough to satisfy me. She is there somewhere, and if not in the locale where they were holidaying then the McCanns had help to dispose or send her away.
How could those twins still be asleep with all the commotion that supposedly went on, imo opinion they were sedated and hard to wake up.
If the family had done this crime I have figured out another way it could have been done to make a little girl miraculously disappear but it is not a way that I think was actually used. It would make a great mystery book solution but is not likely in real life. I think I will keep the method to myself for the moment.
Question: I forget what the old news coverage showed. Were any pics taken of the child while on this holiday trip and were those made public?

I remember one picture of all three children in a park with their father. If there were others I cannot remember, but that picture stuck in my head because they said the man in the background was watching/taking photos of the children, which I didnt think was the case. There were other photos taken after Madelaine disappeared of the McCanns with the twins, which imo were bad taste, they were all smiling as if nothing had happened.
Did the one pic released of her on the vacation prior to her disappearance clearly show her face close enough to recognize her easily?
I think it is, I cant get her face out of my mind, there have been recent photos of her since her disappearance, not sure if they were taken whilst on vacation, but you would never forget her face.
I think the picture of Madeleine in a pink swimsuit and cap on the FindMadeleine website is from their vacation.
Well it appears the friends are in hot water now (not really) but some interesting articles are coming out.

Very interesting reading, lets hope fresh investigators shed more light on this case.
I wonder where the profiling team came from. Is it being funded privately or is part of the police services that the British LE is loaning Portugal to find Madeleine? Hopefully they'll find something that was missed in the first place and locate her.

These so-called smears appear to simply be the Express News in the UK reacting to the Sol in Portugal stating that nobody has been ruled out as suspects. I don't understand why people can't see through this crap.

It sounds as if the Express is gunning for Murat. I think the Anorak raises some valid points. 1) How could the McCann friends provide all the detail about his appearance, especially his eyes, when it was do dark, and 2) how would RM have time to plan such a detailed kidnapping when he wasn't even in Portugal until two days before she went missing?

Pretty much agree here - although, the anorak site brought up a couple of good points - i also think the majority of the comments were completely unconstructive.

This i find very interesting. I think its a very good point that the little kids were still sleeping through it all, and i think its definitely feasible that all the kids could have been sedated. Its been 89 days so if the parents havent sedated the children since, i wonder if it would still be detectable...? (if it was they'd probably be able to justify now....i guess...)

The sedation theory has been playing on my mind, and the more I think about it the more the theory seems feasible.
I would like to know if the twins were tested at the time of Madelaines disappearance, whether there was any sedative drugs in their system. I dont think anyone would have thought to take blood samples from the twins at the time of Madelaines disappearance, so therefore we dont know if they were sedated or not, so that would clear the parents from that theory. According to restaurant staff none of the McCanns friends or the McCanns themselves checked on the children at all during the night, so there was time to get rid of Madelaine if she had accidentally died as a reaction to sedatives or any other medical problems. I do think that this is a viable theory and could have happened.
Praying that a fresh team of investigators will help find Madelaine.
