When I read this I have the impression the parents now know what happened to her daughter

Thank for finding this Hygge.

"May 2022
This year we mark fifteen years since we last saw Madeleine. It feels no harder than any other but no easier either. It’s a very long time.

Many people talk about the need for ‘closure’. It’s always felt a strange term. Regardless of outcome, Madeleine will always be our daughter and a truly horrific crime has been committed. These things will remain. It is true though that uncertainty creates weakness; knowledge and certainty give strength, and for this reason our need for answers, for the truth, is essential. We are grateful for the ongoing work and commitment of the UK, Portuguese and German authorities as it is this combined police effort which will yield results and bring us those answers.

As always, we would like to thank all of our supporters for their continued good wishes and support. It is a huge comfort to know that regardless of time passed, Madeleine is still in people’s hearts and minds. Thank you."

It's gets even more confusing from MWT...

The UK version of the doc is now being given a different title. And tying in with his previous tweet about the first episode being 90 minutes long instead of 60 as AMC are advertising, it sounds like these are going to be different versions of the documentary...

Madeleine McCann: Suspect Christian B claims he has an alibi which can be backed by woman

Christian B says he was having sex in his camper van with a woman at the time of Madeleine McCann's disappearance.

The man suspected of abducting Madeleine McCann insists he was many miles from the scene having sex in his camper van with a young woman who will back his alibi.

Christian B says he drove the woman to the airport at Faro, Portugal, for a flight home the next day and they were stopped and photographed at a police roadblock.

The suspect, a German drifter, claims she was arrested at airport security for carrying an illegal pepper spray and later appeared in court.

Christian B, as he is known under German privacy laws, believes Portuguese police must have a record of those events that will establish his relationship with the young German woman who was on holiday with her parents.

Apparently, German police found a photograph of the woman lying in his camper van during their investigation into a rape for which Christian B, 44, is now serving a seven-year jail sentence in Germany.

When he first spoke of his alibi he couldn't recall the woman's full name, but it's understood he has since been able to identify her.

Some more details about the 'alibi'. One thing that doesn't add up there is the comment about CB driving her to the airport for her flight the following morning (the 4th). Amaral talks about this in his book but says the incident happened on the 10th.

...
Christian B insists that by 10pm he had driven miles along the coast east towards Faro.

In other words, CB is suggesting that he drove that woman without her parents, to Faro (airport) in the evening/night of May 3rd. That would be part of his alibi (besides having had sex with her in his van).

That's how I read it at first, but can it be interpreted as, he had sex with her that night May 3, then, drove her to the airport the next day, May4?
I don't recall any roadblocks on the night MM went missing and don't see anything atm that suggested they spent the whole night together in the camper.

So I wonder who the 4 people are that gave him an alibi ? If he had given an alibi when questioned in 2013- correct me if I'm wrong on the year,. That was confirmed, Then we wouldn't be here now,. So what I'm trying to say, is sounds like the alibi now doesn't match 2013. Didn't NF say he was in Tomas ?,. So seems like he tells lots of lies imo

He's got 4 different alibi's from 4 different people by all accounts, maybe we should put them all in a hat and draw the losing winner? o_O

But it clearly says: Christian B insists that by 10pm he had driven miles along the coast east towards Faro.
He insists. So being on the road towards Faro at 10pm is a crucial part to his alibi.

Not if mm was taken at say 9 or just after

Bolded bit , the parents would confirm if some one else took her to the airport surely.

Is he perhaps going to admit to being on the phonecall at 8pm in PDL but then claim he was already miles down the road by 10pm on his way to his campervan romp? Is this where FF's assertion about a 90 second window comes into play?

All very confusing at the moment, a lot of contradictions.

So maybe the alibi after the fact stacks up, Wolters never asked for the info after , only the leading up to .Trouble is the time line, which part is set in stone.

And if miles down the road by 10,. Does that mean he was alone, so then no one can clarify the alibi

He has given some sort of alibi in 2013, so don't know if it stacks up

Do any of these alibis have a reliable source?
