here is the final section [of 4] of the timeline that i have for CB. 2008 to present. Decline and fall, ending with living on the streets of milan and the prospect of long prison time.
thanks to all the WSleuths contributions that have helped to put this together.
i thought it would be a good exercise to test it. so feel free to add/edit/amend/debunk.

2 Dogs: One was a daschund-cross called Mrs Muller, the other a rottweiler called Charlie.
He reportedly left them locked inside a kiosk bar for six weeks – with one becoming so malnourished it died.

E-fits of a suspect were shown on a German TV crime special ‘…XY’ as part of an appeal from British police and a former friend immediately recognised a strong resemblance to CB. The informant detailed his suspicions in an online form which was sent to federal police. But it is claimed detectives failed to act even after being told by officers in CB’s home town of Braunschweig that he was a sex offender. Braunschweig police were monitoring CB around the clock at the time. According to German magazine Spiegel, police in Braunschweig sent a report about him being a prime suspect to the Federal Criminal Office (BKA) in 2013, two years before IG, 'Germany's Maddie McCann', disappeared. It was ignored.

21 months from october 2018 (i.e. the full sentence) would be up in june 2020.
as he still seems to be applying for parole (two thirds of the sentence) the dates don't add up. so, is he serving another sentence on top of the drugs sentence? did he not go straight to prison in october 2018?
the other question is, why didn't he serve the 2011 suspended sentence when they had him in 2016?

So, what I understand is that CB was helped by an accomplice (to abduct Inga) who was working at the institute where Inga disappeared.
Years later CB wrote a letter to an association or corporation of some sort, of which that same accomplice was a member.

Do we know what date he left Foral after he first started living there in 2007? It's not mentioned in this section of the timeline but the below article seems to say he was hanging around there until 2009 which is the same year NF left the villa.

Also in that Sexta video, the couple say CB told them NF's husband R left the villa first but that he and NF had stayed on there and had a relationship together.

Yeah they actually say that CB told them him and NF were together while he was living with her and R (can’t remember his surname, grrr) and that R moved out because she left him for CB?!
ETA - this place is sounding less and less like a “home for difficult children” and more like a knocking shop/halfway house for addicts and criminals.

I wonder was poor Monika P known to this facility? She was both an addict and had learning difficulties, and was described by police as “naïve”. She would exchange sex for drugs, CB’s favourite currency.

Who knows. There's no Diogo Silva in OC employees listings from "Processo" files, so they have changed real names.

There was no Diogo Silva in Ocean Club Employees in the PJ Files, but what makes you think the PJ have changed the names? How do we know that DS isn’t a relative of one of the many Silva’s contained in the PJ files or even of LS the owner of Villa Bianca? All we know is the phone was found to be registered to DS many years later, it’s possible he has no connection to this case but acquired the phone/sim from a family member in the years after MM disappeared? Or the phone could have initially been registered to DS and he passed the phone onto another family member when replacing his phone?
