CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio —
A Bethel business owner has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, stemming from an incident that began nearly 40 years ago
Clermont County Prosecuting Attorney Mark J. Tekulve announced Wednesday that after a jury trial, Scott Wilson entered a no contest plea and was then found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Heather Gentry.
On that day almost 40 years ago, the now-58-year-old Wilson was in a house with 6-week-old Heather Gentry and her mom.
Detectives said Heather began crying while her mom was taking a shower. The crying stopped and Zipperer told the judge on Friday there was a reason why.
"He did admit to the detective at the time.. ..that he did shake Heather there while her mother was in the shower," Zipperer said.
