I have to ask - and please feel free to bash - but if the sites are illegal, what chance do we have of finding these perverts? Now we have a couple of legitimate agencies working to counteract these perverts and put them behind bars. If we make it impossible to find them, won't it make it harder to catch them? There have been so many stings that have resulted in convictions - I think that is a good thing.
I would love to see some statistics on the internet's usefulness in tracking down these perverts before I would vote for a law that will force them to go even further underground....... I think

Salem, I don't think anybody would bash you. You have some interesting points. I'm more with Stealthy though. These depraved individuals have been depraved pre-internet. Still they found a way to communicate, but not to these proportions. What them sites do is put kids in danger that may not have been before. Why? MONEY! There's always somebody looking to make some money and these perverts will pay big time. Somebody who wouldn't subject kids to that before will do so just to make money. For every sting we are hearing about I'm sure there's ten times more that don't get caught.
