I know that I will be very unpopular here but I don't care.
Jeff Ashton should have stayed off the media tour.
I also saw his monkey shines the last 3 years too along with Baez and I tried to tell myself it was facial tics even said so on one of these threads. He was no better behaved than Baez was.
In my opinion JA could have had a press conference and left it at that.
In my book he's no better than Baez or anyone else who will profit off the blood money of Caylee.

I have watched some of interviews Russ the alternate has done and he is clearly an attention *advertiser censored*. I have noticed that he stammers and stutters quite bit, so I get the feeling that he is nervous and maybe doesn't completely believe that Casey is innocent. But he knows he has to say that believes she is in order to get money off this.

I was surprised by JA hitting the tour but you know what - it helped me. I saw a man who had poured 3 years of his life into this, saw that it bothered him but he was going on about his business. It is what it is. The jury screwed up and didn't do their job in my opinion. Another jury would have convicted her I'm sure. But seeing Jeff today told me to go on with my life. Oh believe me, I'd love to wake up to the headline that ICA fell off the face of the earth, don't get me wrong. But we have to move forward. I'd still like to b-slap the jury and ICA and CM.

One thing JA said that I don't agree with, he said the juries don't pay any attention to the various lawyers in the case (he said this when asked about his "smiling/laughing faux pas). I think they very much do, and decide who they "like" and "dislike" early on, and to me, JA and LDB were not likable, JMO.

CBS here in Florida just announced at the end of the 11:00 news that Juror #2 has broken his (her) silence and to tune in tomorrow... UGH!!!!

Wrong.
Jeff Ashton planned to retire 3 years ago, agreed to stay on for this case.

Before the verdict he told someone that when this is over, he is retiring..the verdict made no difference. And I promise you that after 30 years of service, he will continue to be paid in retirement through the state, accepting money would not be worth loosing everything he has worked towards.. He is not an Anthony.

Wow, I don't understand why my posts keep being misunderstood. I only meant that he announced his retirement after the verdict I didn't say because of the verdict. I also knew they asked him to stay on because of this case I too have been here since 2008. I understand that he'll receive benefits from the state I also work for the state in a different field of course. I'm very much a JA supporter and feel that there was no justice for Caylee.

Normally I'm a lurker and I don't post alot seems like I remember why I was a lurker and maybe I'll just back to being one.

Has JB made the media rounds? I saw the Geraldo one but has he been on any others yet? What about LDB?

I know that JB has spoken to Geraldo Rivera and Barbara Walters.

I believe LDB is forbidden from speaking per her boss, Lawson Lamar.

If any of you can tape or watch Bill O'Reilly tonight, tune it! He is pizzed! Talks about the trial in his first segment, then interviews 2 atty's. Very good stuff. He should be a WSer! Haven't finished watching, but Dennis Miller and maybe the body language expert is on later in the show.
He rakes the jurors over the coals for outright rejecting the expert testimony. He's disgusted.

JB had another IV with Barbara Walters tonight. LDB hasn't but she still works for State so I doubt she will.

LDB can't speak to the press as the SA(Lamar) doesn't allow it; I think JA is allowed to because he's retiring anyways, so he probably got permission. Baez was on 20/20 and GR. I have no issue with any lawyer talking to the media. I disagree with how JB went about this case but he did his job and if he wants to talk to the press, he should be allowed to. If JA wants to(and is allowed to), he should.

I'm beginning to see that life "on the outside" will be far more punishment for MCA (Murderer CA) than being incarcerated for life could ever be!

Is this real?

They should use that for the cover of People Magazine. Or better yet...USA Today.

Please don't go back to lurking..I misread your post..and I apologize! My heart has been broken by this verdict and I am not quiet myself tonight. My sincere apologies.

Cheney flipping he bird is real. Pic was taken at the defense champagne celebration.

Yes he's on ABC getting interviewed a couple of times, but LDB did not and will not do interviews because she's still a practicing prosecutor and I think they're not allowed to do media interviews.
JA is basically calming a lot of people who are upset, even saying people need to accept the verdict. Maybe this is his main motivation for doing the media rounds. He retired so he's able to go and speak on behalf of the pros team, and I think people wanted to hear from him.

After reading that article from Juror #2 I just wish he would've held out and not went with NG...
