He (TC) has not posted anything for a while. I'm sure his family encouraged him to stop. While it gave us some insight to the family dynamics, it certainly wasn't the best thing for the Chamberlain family, or Carnel's case.

I am really curious why the use of 2 names. First we were told 'he doesn't have his own FB page' but now these are comments elsewhere with the GL name. Why????

I believe TC logged in via his FB page in order to comment. That is why he appears as GL. Using ones FB ID to log in is a quick and easy way to do it. I saw TC explain in a number of places and a number of times that GL is actually TC. IMO, there's no ulterior motive.
 
Why this guy wasn't in jail I have no idea. He should have been charged with animal abuse, and would have possibly been in jail, unless Jaimee bailed him out, but maybe she wouldn't have been as trusting of him around Carnel. I'm hoping LE is looking through that fire pit for evidence.

weeks before hand he killed a cat in the bathroom. someone gave a statement to police that was also staying there who seen it. and I also seen with my own eyes dead animals in a fire pit at the house of where carnel came up missing at. I have heard two storys that day about who was passing by.

BBM Thanks, we've had company the last few days and I didn't have time to check that link.

Monday is the hearing for Anthony Bennett, should be interesting.
 
I decided to go by Carnel's home and I was surprised that no one is there watching the house anymore. The front door, back door and back screen are partially open and the crime scene is the same as the FBI left it. I the Tribal Police would still guard the site for another month or two to gather more forensic evidence. Also, I was able to look closer and there is maybe a foot between the house and the ground. The campsite, that is kiddie corner, to the home is quite busy and there is also kids on dirt bikes, three wheelers and golf carts around that area. I don't understand how AB could bury him without anyone seeing or hearing him.
 
Delano police made the revelation after the mother of Juan Felix, Noemi Mendoza, 23, was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading no contest to willful cruelty to a child,

Mendoza was accused of leaving her child in the custody of someone considered dangerous, said Kern County prosecutor Arthur Norris. There were indications the boy had been abused on other occasions, Norris said.

I must have clicked the wrong one which said that his hearing was July 31 Tuesday. Another article said his hearing was today July 30th. Who was the person of interest, did they mean Bennett? Anyway unless the community comes out and keeps this story in the headlines it's gonna get lost amongst the hundreds of other child murder cases. Especially with Petersons trial starting tomorrow and the ongoing story of Holmes in the news.

Legal, I neglected to tell you in my post, that what I really was looking for was to see if you had found a link saying the scheduled July 30th hearing had been rescheduled ... and to see if you had posted the wrong one by mistake.

I am in the South and the only news I could find today about the death of Carnel or on AB was old news on the internet ... none of the local media in the area where this occurred had anything. And, unfortunately, I cannot access the Michigan district court records.

I can't find anything saying he will be in court today. The last story that I could find about him was printed on July 24th. Yesterday I did see a story that said he will be in court today, but now I can't find it. Bennett may just get away with this murder. He's got a high profile attorney, and I'm not hearing anything about an arrest coming soon.

He is charged with assault, under The Major Crimes Act, at this time. Forsensics is not in yet. IF forensics bear up what is believed to have happened to Carnel then he will be charged with murder. The assault charge keeps him in the Federal system until further evidence is found. I'm not thinking there will be 'Welcome Home Anthony' parties anytime soon. IMHO

Addendum to my prior post...Usually, tribal courts will handle an abuse against a child case, unless it is a sexual abuse. To charge Anthony Bennett with assault and make it Federal shows that someone is playing serious here, they want him in jail for a long time. The Tribal Prosecutor had prosecutorial discretion here and that TP pushed the case Federal.

Even IF they can't forensically prove murder, they will still get him on the charge. They just don't know what they have to work with yet and how they will frame their case.

I would not want to be Anthony Bennett right now, he has made enemies outside of jail and he has a whole Tribal/Federal System coming down on him.

Oh legal, :eek: my mind won't even go there to consider that AB could get away with murdering precious little Carnel.

Yesterday and last night, I searched all of the print MSM, and others, that have been covering news on this case hoping to learn more about the July 30th hearing time, news from the hearing yesterday, or a rescheduled hearing date. The only news article I could find was the one linked above by legal, dated July 24th ... and also previously posted in the thread. I thought it strange that only one media source would be represented at the hearing.

In reading the article again today, it occurred to me that the date of July 30th in the article as quoted below seems to come from AB's mother ... instead of a confirmed date from a media source. :cow: Just a thought!

AB's attorney may have requested a postponement.
 
Wondering if there's a reason for no press. I just saw a post by GL in which he answered a question about what's going on. He said no one was able to go to court and all he knows is that AB has not been charged with murder. I'm not clear on what that means (wrt court).

The assault case against my ex started with his arrest in the middle of the summer but he wasn't sentenced until the following early summer because of 2 postponements on his part.
