Age at Time of Disappearance: 50 years old
Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'8"; 125 lbs.
Distinguishing Characteristics: White male. Blond hair. Wore eye-glasses.
Medical: Bowers had no known medical conditions.
Clothing: A clothing description is unknown.


Circumstances of Disappearance
Douglas Bowers was last seen on November 14, 1997, at Waylon's Roadhouse Bar near Lexington in Worth Township, Sanilac County, Michigab.
His vehicle, a 1985 Buick station wagon, was recovered on December 8, 1997, in the parking lot of a Meijer located in Fort Gratiot, Michigan.
The Michigan State Police Crime Lab located blood on one of the vehicle's windows. Searches were conducted in the surrounding area using cadaver dogs. Foul play is suspected.
Mr. Bowers lived in an apartment above Waylons Road Haus, a bar on Lakeshore Road, when he disappeared.

pick does not look like BK. Nose, ears do not line up right.

IMO: I vote no.
 
skin is too ruddy and his nose is not slender enough imo. I vote no on this one.
 
Sanilac County cold-case homicides share peculiar link
Investigators have a motive, persons of interest, but no body in the 21-year-old missing person case of Douglas Gene Bowers.

In the case of Douglas D. Hendrick, they had a body, but 45 years later are still searching for a motive and person of interest.

The Sanilac County cold cases have a few things in common — they share the same first name, they've yet to be solved and Hendrick was Bower's step-son.
