Cates last contacted his mother on August 27, 2016. He was living in Flint, Michigan at the time and was planning to move to Ohio. He has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.

There's just so little information I find it hard to have an opinion.

Marc was sued for non-payment of rent in June 2017, I guess it's related to his disappearance. There's also a co-defendant who maybe a roommate or partner etc.

His name surfaced recently
In a murder case. However the info I have found in my opinion as follows.

MOO
Marc is connected to a location of Flint MI several missing young men dating back to 2016 to 2019.

Marc has no known connection to any other know victims and a rumor from social media tried to connect him to a resent murder victim.
The rumor is FALSE.

However at least his name was circulated and his case was brought here.
I intend to keep seeing if any of the missing young men in Flint MI missing can be connected to a killer who had a resent arrest over Christmas for murder. I do hope Law Enforcement is doing the same.

So either he was alive as of mid-2017 or someone was using his identity then. I wonder why the name of the codefendant wasn't included in that docket sheet? Might be interesting to try and see if that person is still around.
