Danilelle, may you now rest in the hands of the Lord....Fly High......Fly High.....

Rest in paradise Danielle, I hope her family can come to some kind of peace now. I also hope justice will be served.

Almost a week and still no announcement regarding cause of death. No charges filed.

Makes me wonder if there was no obvious signs on the body that would point to how she died and the ME is awaiting toxicology reports before declaring the manner of death. Which might mean that she did overdose. If that is the case I'm not sure anyone will be charged with murder, but perhaps charged with improperly disposing of the body. (the only reason I think that is because of the text message sent saying Dani OD'ed the night before) If not for the text message I would be leaning towards the notion that she might of walked out of the house in a drug induced state and succumb to the elements.

As the POI is in prison and not going anywhere for the moment, they have plenty of time to ensure the case is tight. Those of us waiting for Jennifer Renz to get justice haven't had a CoD nearly three months after her body was recovered.

If I remember rightly they did find some of Dani's blood but not enough for them to say she had been murdered.

Blood typing turned up no results. Because the stain had been cleaned with bleach. There were tissues found but AS said it was from a nosebleed and didn't turn out to be Danielle's.

Was she found in the "pond" behind his house? The one you can see on aerials? Or am I mistaken?

RIP beautiful girl

Yea they described it in the article as a "marshy area" 300 yards from AS's house. Poor Dani.

I'm hopeful that the hard winter and freezing conditions kept her body preserved to the point the ME will be able to determine a COD.

That's what I'm waiting on too. I wonder if they could get a POI on "involuntary manslaughter" determined by toxicology reports? If it was an abnormal reaction to a large dose of narcotics in her system...Just wondering.. MOO

So my guess is they didn't rule it an accidental drowning (no water in the lungs)? In answer to my own question They can rule it a murder if toxicology comes back lethal dose of drugs. JMHO

I think the chances of Danielle drowning are slim to none.

Chances are at time of Danielle's disappearance the water where her body was found, would have been frozen. In other words it would have been impossible for her to have drown.

"As if in defiance of her illness (asthma), Danielle Jelinek grew to be a fiercely competitive endurance runner, participating in races like the “Tough Mudder,” a 12-mile course that includes obstacles designed by the British Special Forces."

From one runner to another- run now in the clouds, Danielle.

That's what I'm thinking too. (Also wondering how she was positioned vs livitity) I know it'd be an obvious observation, I was just waiting for more answers.

I thought so, but just wanted to confirm that I wasn't losing my mind and imagining things.

Poor Dani, hopefully we'll know more about COD soon.

It's been a month and no word on the Cause of Death yet. I suppose the family is keeping it close to the vest because of an investigation? JMHO Either way; they're in my prayers and I hope she gets the justice she deserves. RIP Danielle.

Toxicology reports always seem to take for ever.
