Details of Disappearance​

Miner was last seen at her residence off Cloverdale Road in Sandstone, Minnesota at 10:00 a.m. on August 13, 2020. She left her purse, cellular phone and medications behind, which isn't uncharacteristic of her, and has never been heard from again. Because Miner has a history of leaving home for a few days at a time, she was not reported missing until August 22, 2020.

Miner's father died in 2021; in his obituary, it was noted that Miner was missing and presumed deceased. Her case remains unsolved.

"When she wasn't using drugs, she was an amazing person. She was a great mom. She loved her children. When she would get in the throes of drugs, though, it was devastating," said Urbaniak.

Speaking to FOX 9 from her home in Wisconsin, Urbaniak says her sister battled addiction for many years, but regularly kept in touch with family and her four children. When Dee Anna didn't call back after her birthday, Urbaniak knew something was very wrong.

"Once it started to get cold and she didn't call anybody for anything... I knew... I am very confident she is not alive," said Urbaniak.

Her poor parents died in 2021 without knowing what has happened to her. All these stories are heartbreaking. She is presumed dead.

George and Marlene's daughter Dee Anna Lea (Miner) Dugal has been missing since August 13, 2020, and is presumed deceased. The family will be honoring Dee Anna during the memorial service as well.
