Found Deceased MN - Shoua Lee, 91, went to a store, Saint Paul, 9 Jul 2021 *memory issues*

St. Paul police are asking for help finding a 91-year-old woman who left her North End home Friday morning.

Shoua Lee last was seen in the 100 block of Biglow Lane between 6 and 6:30 a.m. Friday when she left for the store, said Steve Linders, a police spokesman. She has memory issues and speaks limited English, according to police.

“Our officers have been out looking all over the area, knocking on doors and working with her family members, who are also actively looking for her,” Linders said.

Lee is described as 4-foot-11 and 110 pounds. She was wearing a gray and white checkered sweater and a black and white hat.

Police ask anyone with information to contact them at 651-291-1111.

She appears to have mobility issues, as she is relying on a cane in the photo. Looks can be deceiving sometimes, but it doesn’t look like she would be very speedy when out walking. One would think she would be readily located.

I also wonder how they know she went out to go to a store? Was this a regular thing she did alone? How far away is the store? Seems risky to let her go alone, with her mobility and memory issues.

MISSING PERSON ALERT: The St. Paul Police Dept. is requesting the public’s assistance in locating an endangered missing woman. Shoua Lee, 91, is 4’11”, 110 lbs., with white hair and brown eyes. Lee was last seen wearing a grey and white checkered sweater with a black and white hat. Shoua Lee left her home on the 100 block of Biglow Lane in St. Paul on Friday, July 9, around 6:15 a.m. and hasn’t been seen since. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the St. Paul Police Dept. at 651-291-1111.

I know. I want to give her a big hug. Also, I love this pic of her. It makes me wonder what she's thinking and how she's probably got 91 years of good, old-fashioned wisdom to offer during a conversation with her. I hope they find her soon.

It's unofficial, but a family member has just posted an update along with asking they be allowed to mourn Grandma privately. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who love Ms. Lee.

A 91-year-old missing from St. Paul’s North End was found dead in a creek on Saturday, police said.

An autopsy will be conducted, but police said foul play is not suspected in the death of Shoua Lee.
