Circumstances of Disappearance:
Wilkes departed Jefferson City, Missouri en route for his girlfriend's home in Florissant, Missouri at 4:00 p.m. on August 24, 2007. He was driving a leased dark metallic green 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with Oklahoma license plates 847-ZVE, expiration date 03-08, at the time.

At 10:30 pm, surveillance cameras captured Wilkes at a Quik-Trip convenience store in St. Peters, Missouri where financial records confirmed he made a purchase. He never arrived to see his girlfriend and has never been heard from again.

I can't find much more on this one other than what is already posted here. Does anyone know if the vehicle he was driving was ever located?

Very important question. Whenever someone goes missing with their car, especially late at night, my immediate thought is to look for bodies of water on the route.

According to Google Maps, from St. Peters (where Daryl was last seen) to Florissant (his destination), Daryl would've had to drive over the Missouri River. Were any searches done there?
