Circumstances of Disappearance:
Ashford was last seen in Jefferson City, Missouri on April 28, 1998. He had traveled from St. Louis, Missouri and was visiting a residence hall on campus at Lincoln University where he was a former student. While he was in the dormitory room, he received an electronic page and made a phone call. He told the person on the other end of the line to meet him outside. Ashford was last seen leaving the parking lot near the 800 block of Chestnut Street in a vehicle with other people, leaving his own vehicle behind. He has never been seen since and his whereabouts are unknown. Foul play is suspected.

It appears that there's very little information to go on. I suspect this is one of those cases where drugs, money, guns, etc. could be involved, and Mr. Ashford trusted the wrong people. There could be gang connections? I HOPE he's still alive, but if he hasn't contacted anyone since that day, he's likely to have met with foul play. He left HIS vehicle behind. Only his family members would probably know the make and model. We don't know what type of vehicle he left in. These types of cases are the worst because there are too many unknowns.
