City police were dispatched to the 5700 block of St. John Avenue on 11/3/22 for a report of a dead 5-year-old child. Officers found two children, one deceased and the other non-responsive. According to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, Fish was the legal guardian of the child & had care, custody & control of their health & well-being. A doctor diagnosed that the dead child suffered from malnutrition & dehydration. The surviving twin girl showed signs of suffering physical abuse & significant neglect. Doctors found that she had bruises on her body. She was malnourished, suffered dehydration & weighed as much as a 20-month-old child, court documents said.
