"Wolfe said authorities from Benton County advised the Cooper County Sheriff's office that a 2004 Kia Sedona van had been located. The vehicle matches the description of the van Kistler was believed to be in.Benton County authorities also confirm the body of a female was found near the van and a dog was located in the same area believed to be Kistler's Dachshund."

Autopsy is scheduled early this coming week.

This is so sad.

Rest in Peace Laverla!

From Darling136's link:

I think Laverla would like this

A dog matching the description of Kistler’s dog, a reddish/brown terrier-dachshund mix, was found unharmed near the van.

The poor little guy was out there alone for almost three weeks, not leaving his momma! How did he survive? I hope someone is taking good care of him now.
