Not true, there have been parents who beheaded their children to keep them from being identified. Erica Green (aka Precious Doe) was decapitated by her Mom and step Dad.

These 2 kids as well and sadly I'm sure there are plenty of others

There are always exceptions of course, but I believe @Friday Fan has a point - in general, forensic specialists do view decapitation as supporting evidence that the assailant didn't know the victim. Same with mutilation of the face. Murderers are less likely to do these things when they know the victim because it's emotionally difficult.

I do think back to Scott Peterson, convicted of killing his pregnant wife Laci and unborn son Conner.
Autopsy suggested he decapitated her. Not to mention, Evelyn Colon, our former victim Beth Doe of Carbon County. Boyfriend/ Her baby's father, recently charged...Evelyn was decapitated.

Not only was she decapitated, but completely dismembered and her ears and nose were cut off. All allegedly done by her overly jealous fiance... with murder there are not many rules and lots of exceptions to them...

the girl's name is spelled the way I have it I looked on namus and she is not there or for that matter not on a lot of the missing person websites only found here on 2 that I know of and seen info on her case on youtube also . Nikole was mixed her dad was black and her mom was white and well if you look at both of the cases you see what I'm seeing

Given that this child was murdered in 1983, that's not a very long rule out list...compared to other cases. Just saying...

the fact that sljd was raped suggests there may have been dna of her killer or rapist on her? Was there semen found? Did the LE test to see if the semen suggested that SLJD was related to the man?

something else that happened around the same time as finding her there was one case almost like this in Racine wi back in 1983 but well they did find the lady's head and some body parts. her name was Helen Sebastian. also I know from reading on here something was said about Alton Coleman & Debra Brown, that wherefrom Waukegan ill .ok well from what I do know is the city of Racine like 14 mils from Kenosha wi or less and well Waukegan like maybe 10 mils from Kenosha or less. anyhow it just makes you think could it be that maybe they 2 could have had something to do with that lady's murder and well some of the other crazy odd things that had happened around them parts? also how many more murders in that time frame in 1983 were found without bodies or heads?

The St. Louis Jane Doe case has always reminded me of this Pennsylvania case.
