I was just thinking how Jessica was fatally burned in Courtland on December 6th. But she actually died in a Memphis hospital's burn unit early the next day -- that would have been on Sunday, December 7th -- Pearl Harbor Day, a day of infamy.
Indeed. Her family would not recognize her but someone who did not know her did. Even the grandmother said she was unrecognizable. This is a copy and paste from Jan 2015 by WS member Classico.
"having been told her 19-year-old daughter was burned beyond recognition."

"Chambers said police and doctors told him. "She was burned so bad that she was unrecognizable."

You couldnt recognize her because she was unrecognizable, Chambers described what he was told by doctors. The doctor told us it wasnt nothing we can do you know she was burned 98% of her body.

But to the Courtland Fire Chief's horror, he saw Jessica Chambers lying next to her burning car "I realized who the victim was and it was just shocking," said Haley. "I hate it for the family."

Just an observation...Doctors and LE say she was unrecognizable..Yet a fireman recognizes her...A victims identity is usually proven before being named...She was burned..car was burned...(ID, tag, etc) Just how did they know for certain at the time that this was Jessica...

What a great question. My candidate for best answer is:
Someone at the CS in some way had knowledge of JC's movements in the 6:30 to 7:31 timeframe. Therefore they are the person who either called 911 or perhaps just slipped up & id'd JC. In addition I think 'they' are a person no one would cross, question & be given an automatic pass/benefit of the doubt. Why?The unknown person was cleared almost as quickly as the CS & JC's unattended still smoatering car photo uploaded on SM. :sheesh:My theory only. Please feel fee to disagree. In fact I wish someone would come up with a better theory!!:discuss:
I am writing another post brought up from an earlier thread. I will be posting it in the future.

Yes that was Mark uhh... Hang on!Thank-you for that link. I had not read anything about JC's grandmother saying she was unrecognizable.
fftopic:gngr~snap,do you remember your post about the possibility(Note: NO medical examiner results have been made public)that JC's autopsy possibly indicated she was unconscious during part of the hour which is uncounted for. You paraphrased a medical case to illustrate your point.
Gosh,I think we abandoned our theory because someone took exception and it became contentious.Nothing new with that as most of the reporting conflicts with each other.
Anyhow,to refresh my memory I was going to find that old thread & reread your theory. I thought you had presented a darn good argument.

Ya gotta wonder why supposedly Ben was told that she was walking down the driveway (or road?) on fire, too. Who would say that!! If she and the car were on fire, neither would be recognizable. Of course, the walking on fire was eventually revised to lying next to her car. But there is a HUGE difference. Investigation was compromised from the very beginning. I think that JC spoke to NO ONE. JMO.......reportedly, the cleared and mysterious 911 caller said nothing about a person, just a car fire.
