Scary! IMO… Prayers she is found soon!

Terry, and Lori’s brother, Tim Cockrell, both say on the morning of August tenth, a neighbor at the Mill At McCullough Apartment complex where Lori lived, saw Lori parking her car, taking up two spaces. Her apartment door was found partially open, and she had left her phone, ID, and other personal items behind.

The private investigator says Lori was seen getting into a 2015 Maroon CRV, with a man and woman multiple times before her disappearance.

Terry believes he will find Lori Cockrell as soon as he finds the driver of that maroon CRV, seen picking Cockrell up, in the weeks leading to her disappearance. If she didn’t leave with that person, Terry wants to know who Cockrell buzzed into her apartment complex the morning of August tenth.

Where is Lori Cockrell?

The 58-year-old Tupelo resident was last seen on August 10. She has since disappeared, leaving family members, law enforcement and at least one private investigator scratching their heads as they wonder what happened to her. Cockrell’s backstory is one of mostly tragedies averted, so far.
•diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer 7 yrs ago & beat it, but family believe the chemo affected her thinking
•was committed to the state mental hospital in Tupelo for a time because of her diagnosed schizophrenia
•eventually stopped eating, falling to 91 pounds and was warned she may have to be hospitalized; many feel this led to her disappearance

Enter James Terry: the Biloxi-based private investigator specializes in finding missing people. He was hired by the Cockrell family to find Lori Cockrell.

Tim Cockrell said he agrees with TPD investigators that it appears Lori Cockrell got into a car driven by someone she knows and left the area.“I think she is still in hiding,” said Tim Cockrell. “This has been terrible for the family. We hope and pray she is alive.”
