Details of Disappearance
Nerissa disappeared from Gautier, Mississippi on December 30, 1989. She was living in a foster home when she disappeared. Authorities believe she left of her own accord. Few details are available in her case.

I'm wondering if Princess Blue could be Nerissa? There is a discrepancy in Nerissa's height between NamUs & Charley Project, listing 5'4" and 4'4", respectively.

- 15 to 25 years old
- Biracial (white & black, possible a parent or grandparent was black)
- 4'10" to 5'3"
- Unable to estimate weight, but likely slim to medium build
- Had several items of jewelry (rings on fingers, and a bracelet)

If Nerissa ran away from her foster home and tried to hitchhike, she very well could have caught a ride and made her way to Texas.

Spoke to Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences and they're pulling up Princess Blue's case, and Nerissa's information. Hopefully they'll be able to compare somehow if they feel like it's a possible match. Should be getting a call back in 10-15 minutes, she said, to figure out what the next step would be, if any.

This is so horrific to me that the children who go missing while in foster care have little to no information on them. They were lost in the system and then they were completely forgotten after that fact.
I cannot seem to find any information on NF outside of reports to agencies that she went missing.
