MSM coverage of Baby Lisa 10/28/11

Start the violins....poor Deb and J are so mistreated. They have made it perfectly clear that they don't want any local help. They have their media darling, JT, and the national media. I would LOVE for them to be shunned until they start helping to find their daughter. But, that won't happen. Too many supporters and fans who will continue to cheer their efforts to hide what happened to Lisa....I'll never understand how an innocent little baby can be pushed in the background in favor of the parents....I just can't understand it.

I SO agree with you about everything you said. I think that every person on these forums wants Lisa to be alive and to return home. But, it is just so very unlikely at this point. Actually, I think there is no chance of that precious baby coming home and it breaks my heart. It also just infuriates me that people can think that a person who actually DID have their baby taken away would consider their rights above the life of their baby. But, that is what is obviously happening here. And, yes, I am sickened too to see people read all of the things that point toward their guilt and still be able to defend them, but there will always be people who will do this. It's not about me "being right" about this - it's about bringing that innocent little baby home to rest in peace. :cry:

Peter Alexander reported the family stated they are "exhausted and all need a rest". This really concerns me. Hard to grasp how a mother and father could possibly rest, or even be concerned about themselves resting, while their baby daughter is in the hands of a kidnapper in who knows what kind of circumstances? But then, everyone is different. Some people are more fragile and don't hold up under pressure and stress as well as others. In this case, not only their baby missing (allegedly kidnapped) , but there is also the unending media spotlight they have been under all these weeks. Plus, there is possibly tremendous guilt. So, though it is really difficult, :sigh:, I'm going to try my best to remind myself to be objective.

To be honest look at what the people who they have "let" in have done to them. I do think the DB and JI have no idea what to do and at this point it doesn't matter what they do because in the eyes of many..they are responsible for what happened to Baby Lisa.

I for one think they are doing the right thing by not letting anyone access to them. Many are saying they should be in the press begging for the return of their baby but when they do appear they are torn down, made fun of and accused of lying. At this point it is best if they continue to let the TH keep Lisa on the front page and lay low.

IMO these parents are in way over their heads and being led by people who just want their 15 minutes of fame.

Two decoy cars? That is a bit a much. It's not like paparazzo are actively chasing these people. Lord. Next thing you know there'll be the Secret Service or a Swat team escorting them. Last I checked, people don't want to hurt them, they just want to know where baby Lisa is.

I am on my way to bed because my husband and I are running in the morning in the Kohmen run very early tomorrow, or else I would be happy to tell you the numerous things that DB has done. When this first happened, I was a big supporter of hers. As she began to change her stories every couple of days, I began to go onto the fence. When we heard she was so drunk that she passed out, I went off the fence. And, she has told so many lies now and acted in such a guilty way that if it wasn't such a serious case, it would be laughable.

So, although I won't be here later to expound on DB's obvious guilt, I am sure that there are many here who will.

Always remember and believe this - "The TRUTH never changes."

P.S. If you truly have read everything here on all of the threads about Lisa (as I and many others have) and still can't believe she is guilty, then there is nothing anyone can say to change your mind.

If it's anything like some other cases, there are probably a ton of death threats coming in, and then you got the real crazies desperate to contact them because they had a vision or dreams. I would have to guess it's surpassed the amount of legit tips that have come in.

I'm not taking up for the family in any way, and I have all kinds of problems with the fact that they are not cooperating with the police.

BUT, I don't like it when people go to somebody's house where a child is missing so they can start a throw-down with them.

I don't see what it helps to say "I accuse you of something" and then expect someone to open their door. Or say "If you don't talk to important me right this minute on a Friday night I will trash you from here to Sunday because it PROVES something."

We also saw the "mob in front of the house" thing going on with the Anthony Case, the Hailey Dunn Case, and the Kyron Horman case, and what good did any of that ever do? It never made anyone admit something, and it never brought any children home.

To be honest, I've been on Websleuths for years and I've never heard of Tina Porter - or maybe my old brain is just slipping. I'm sorry for whatever happened to her own children, but if she really wanted to help she could have gone about this differently. A media mob scene is never a good thing, and there's just no credibility in trashing people you say you are trying to help. :twocents:

I don't recall that he ever answered that other than to say he had no excuse to offer. He did blame Tina though.

They were estranged. I think many of us can guess at why he killed the children just based on that.
