Yes he had an omega watch on and if he is the john doe then he could have had that as well. He is the son of a prominent watchmaker. I am sure that he had alot of them. Also do you not find it strange that the KOA witness basically said the same thing that he was traveling the u.s.
Also it would be really easy to rule him out if they would have noted that he has a mole on his right arm near the wrist. That is listed in his namus

no i cant account for 4 years. BUT if he doesnt have a car and is backpacking across the US how long do you think that would take.
I mean it may not be the john doe. He may be one of the thousands of people who mysteriously disappear from Yosemite every year. I wouldnt say that I dont trust the sumter police dept. but they dont have the passion of finding them like the coroner verna moore does and she is retired.

If i could call these places myself and ask them I would. but then I would probably be charged with hendering an investigation.

Not trying to start anything but Dikran Knadjian looks a lot more like our John Doe than Michael McMinn. You can tell the picture of Dikran Knadjian is pretty young in this picture. He may have matured a bit and lost some weight. I would not rule him out as a possible John Doe until DNA testing or dental comparison is done.

I'm clueless why you chose to start your post with "not trying to start anything". I'm an adult; I can have conversations with people that have different opinions. I'm not known for being a trouble maker here. Have never gotten a time out

Everyone can have an opinion. I personally do not think he's a match. I feel he had an accident at Half Dome. Feel free to submit him to get him ruled in/out

I totally understand that you may not feel that he may or may not be the john doe. I have seen all of the pictures that have been posted of him and I am basing my opinion on the official coroners photo. Not off of any composites that may have been made.
In My Opinion this is why i feel that he is the closest match to the john doe.

I notice the date time group on it. I was wondering why it took so long for the message to be released. It was about a year before the murders.

Why did the father think that? IF he was in prison / jail, perhaps that could account for the difference in time frames??

Is it possible to reach out to the brother and ask him to look at the picture and see whether he thinks it could be a match. Does his namus say whether familial DNA is available?

I know there has been some speculation in regard to corruption in the police force and the 'covering up' of information, but if it is the McMinn couple, the reason why there might be a delay in the publication of the results of a positive DNA test might be because the police are keeping this information in reserve, for use in an ongoing and much larger investigation.

I wasn't implying that there was police corruption. I was basically saying that based on these correspondence that I found it way bigger than us because Mrs.Mcminn's father worked for DOJ. It's just out of everyone's hands on trying to get information on that

Back in the 70's anything was a go. No information collected when traveling. Buy a ticket and that was the end of it. No photo ID required! Much easier time back then...oh but it was fun!

If you go to wikileaks.org and in the search bar simply put mcminns they come up and you be able to see them that.... and that is a very valid point that they may be trying to block it but I wouldn't understand why
