For the police to question Timmy and Chelsea for 14 hours makes me think there is something there - not sure what but 14 hours is a long time to just verify a few facts. Something isnt adding up. It wouldnt make sense for Misty to shift the blame to Timmy and Chelsea because Timmy had not been there that night, she is closest to Timmy so if anything she would point away from him I would think? Tommy had been at the house and there is a history with him so pointing fingers his direction makes sense to me - he could of unlocked the door while he was there.

Well if this sighting pans out to be a dead end...RC will be devestated all over again...And I have been off of this site for awhile so I am not complely caught up...Is the brother of MC that moved the same one that RC got arrested for assaulting recentlly?

IIRC Misty slipped up and said she called her mom before calling 911 in one of her interviews then corrected herself. So I am wondering if she called her mom and Tommy before 911 - was it specifically stated she called Timmy?

Did Nancy mention what time this phone call between MC & her brother took place? IIRC didn't MC get up to go to the bathroom & find Haleigh gone around 3:00am (give or take) and then RC got home before 3:30am?

I can't imagine family getting hopes up and then crushed if it doesnt pan out - would be horrible.

I was under the impression that the call was to Timmy but I'll have to watch the repeat of NG's show to be sure. The whole thing just caught me off guard I didn't catch every detail! The point was made though that MC didn't call 911 but called her family first. Of course we don't really know the contents of the conversations either or if Haleigh really was discovered "missing" around 3:00am. :waitasec: A hypothetical call could be "RC's going to be home soon is everything taken care of?" MOO

I thought it was said that Mistys phone was off until 3:10 - which means the call would of had to been placed between 3:10 and 3:27 - this just gets more and more confusing.

I also noticed when watching the Voice stress test analysis of MC...She stated when asked day what time HC went missing she orginally stated the evening of the 9th and then quickly corrected it to sometime in the early morning hours of the 10th...That was very telling to me...

I hope and pray that it is Haleigh that was spotted, however I can't imagine how this would work Timmy and Chelsea did not leave Florida until July - did Cousin Joe take Haleigh to MA before heading to TN? If not where was Haleigh hidden from Feb - July?

All reports show Timmy and Chelsea living in Crescent city when Haleigh went missing, I am not convinced they lived with Tommy and Lindsy - Hank and Lisa live with Tommy and Lindsy.

I wasn't aware of this, Busy! Lindsy says she is having a big garage sale and putting their house on the market to move to MA and get away from all the stress. I wonder if Hank Sr and Lisa will go to MA also or if they will stay in FL.

Wow, It was just stated that MC called her brother after Haileigh went missing and before 911 was called...WHY

Are you asking me? Well, she called upon her brother to get Haleigh out of the picture because little Haleigh, instead of being sound asleep, came into the living room and witnessed Misty carrying on with another man besides her daddy.
Yes, I do believe Misty would go that far in order to keep Ron from finding out anything what went on that evening in the MH. She feared Haleigh would tell her dad and Misty wasn't about to chance losing him, especially if she and Ron had been fighting that day/afternoon/evening about Misty's weekend activities.
Could be, huh?

The plan has been in the works for awhile for them to all leave town. I am sure Hank and Lisa will go with them, they had already left once and returned to FL with the plan of them all going together. Hopefully LE will get them all questioned before they leave town.

Missy70Texas, that's a heck of a good question. One I posted here not long ago.
Just a guess, but certainly there would be an uproar from Haleigh's mom's side of the family if this little girl was returned to him while Misty was still in the picture.
But, then, if Misty arranged that Haleigh be taken from the home (cause she could tell what Misty was up to while Ron was at work) certainly there would be some type of charges against Misty.
It's getting interesting if this sighting is true.

If she called the home of the brother that lived near by and they use to take the trail through the woods to visit.... I don't find it odd that she would call there before 911.

It would be reasonable to think she possibly decided to go over there? Don't want to call 911, get Ron all riled up, and find out she is at her "aunt and uncles" place.

They would know exactly who she called and when from the prior week all the way through to after Haleigh's abduction. If they saw any patterns, then it would have been smart to obtain the phone records of anybody she talked to during that same period, and cross check to see who THEY spoke with.
If they did this, why would they need to ask a family member for their phone records seven months later??? I can't believe what I'm hearing!

And as much as I'd love for Haleigh to be the little girl @ WalMart, I can't for the life of me think of why TC would've "kidnapped" her and be keeping her all these months. Could this coincidental "sighting" possibly be a trick of LE to get somebody to talk? :waitasec: MOO

Well, panthera, here's an idea why Misty would "arrange" a kidnapping of Haleigh. Maybe there was a need to make Haleigh disappear because she awoke, came into the living room and saw the "bouncing couch." And Misty feared she would tell her father what she saw.
I do believe Misty, in order to protect her relationship with Ron, would go to that extent to cover up her behavior.

Thats what concerns me is why wait 7 months to question Chelsea and Timmy and to obtain phone records of anyone and everyone - just blows my mind they are just getting around to this.

I understand your feelings on this, I believe that RC has no clue what has happened to Haleigh. I am still on the fence with Misty some days I fall off the fence and other days I am still sitting on it - this case just gets more bizzare as time goes on.

They would have probable cause to get Misty and Ron's phone records, but unless there is a viable suspicion attached to the bystanders of these events they can't just pull all your phone records. They wouldn't have the probable cause for the subpoena the phone carrier would require. They could ask the "bystanders" to voluntarily provide them.
