LE saying they had ME onsite during discovery. Remains consistent with child. Bone found last week matched Zahra's DNA

Alexis Weed, NG producer, on location where there was an excavation on Wednesday. ME on staff Weds. when remains were discovered, "consistent with that of a child", bone found last week, tested and matched Zahra's DNA profile.

Jean asking what remains were found at Dudley Shoals. AW saying LE was not specific. LE took DNA samples from where Zahra lived; sent to state lab for further confirmation.

Robert O., reporter from AU, accompanied ED to the U.S. Jean asking when ED found out about remains. He said she was taken to the police station, and told before information was released to the public. Also saying LE investigators were very emotional.

Jean asking Robert O. about ED giving DNA swab to LE to expedite testing proceedings to absolutely confirm the remains are Zahra's. Jean asking where remains were found on Weds., were they inside the hole. He doesn't know. Important things for ED right now is that Zahra has been found, she hasn't told RO details yet.

ED has heard all the rumors about the head in hole and then heard the news reports re cut marks on bone and was devastated, undone.
