So we have confirmation from LE that Justin Cody Hunt has been murdered by the arrested perp.

I don't know if a mod has been alerted to the fact that someone has been arrested for JCH's murder. The thread title needs to be change to "Deceased Missing," and "Arrest."

Haven’t seen any confirmation that this was related to the arrest, but one of the charges is arson. IMO a strong possibility.

Body found in burned home in Maxton

Depending on the severity of the fire, they will likely have to use dental records for a positive ID. That can take a while especially if they have to call in a Forensic Dentist. Keeping his family and children in my prayers.

Austin Ransom, 19, of Maxton is charged with first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree arson and second degree burglary, according to the Robeson County Sheriff's Office.

Ransom is being held in the Robeson County Detention Center with no bond for the first degree murder charge.

A judge granted a $2,000,000 secured bond for the remaining charges.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Robeson County Emergency Management assisted with the investigation.

As of some recent alerts, I see the thread title has been changed two days ago according to rules (Deceased/Not found means the same as Deceased/Missing )
