Found Deceased NC - Matthew Jenkins, 24, Brevard, 16 Feb 2016

Matthew Kyle Jenkins, 24, was last on February 16 in the Brevard area of North Carolina. He is known to frequent the area of Asheville as well as Knoxville, TN.

Anyone with any knowledge of Matthew's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Det. Woodson or Det. Thompson at 828-883-2212.

Police say he may be suffering from cognitive impairment due to medical issues.

He was last seen wearing an orange and red flannel shirt, grey sweat pants, and a grey Northface jacket. He is about 6’2” in height, 165 pounds, and has brown hair.

According to his own Facebook post, he just moved to Brevard about 2/3/16. But then I see there is a question of his medical/cognitive condition. Could he be at some new friend's house somewhere between Brevard, Asheville, and Knoxville?

Thanks for bumping the thread, Tabirey. I've been trying to find any updates in the media on Matthew, and nothing so far. Did check SM and a family member posted two days ago that he was still missing.

I hope he's safe.

Same here, I'm not finding anything recent. He looks like such a fun, sweet kid. I hope they find him safe and soon!

From the article above. Apparently he moved there to join a addiction program and there were drugs in his body but they need to do more testing.
