Not to mention that if it is her she had been alive for much of this time. Surely they wouldn't be able to identify tattoos after so long, no? Again, doesn't she have family in this general area?

IIRC her mother lives in Tennessee...I remember her being in TN for a Today show interview...I am not 100% sure but pretty sure. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Scars and Tattoos:
Scar on her left eyebrow from a surf boarding accident where she got six stitches
Shooting star tattoo on top of her right foot
Tribal tattoo on her upper left thigh
Trickling stars going down the back of her neck all the way down her spine

Could this be Kelli Bordeaux?

Sure sounds like it.
But the dark hair?

Her mother lives in Newport, Tennessee.

Oh ok. That's quite a distance from the location. It appears that LE already knows - or has a good idea - who this is. They were quick to take identifying info off the web, so it may be due to a popular disappearance. I'm speculating of course.

In the linked article the description of the star tattoo's is still included.

Woman’s body found burned in Franklin County

Guess said the body is believed to be a that of a white woman between 18 and 25 years of age with dark hair and a tattoo of a large star with smaller stars on the back of her neck and another star tattoo on the top of her right foot.

They didn't say which state the vehicle was licensed in so I wonder if it has TN plates?

Yep. You're right about the link. Earlier links have been changed or removed, including one from the Times Free Press, so I jumped to the conclusion that this was 'hush hush'.

Those tattoos are fairly common amongst young ladies, IIRC. The locations of them, however, would be an odd coincidence if it turns out not to be her.

This part does not fit with it being Kelli...

"...Sheriff’s Office personnel also released that the young woman’s car was missing and searched for her vehicle in relation to this case. The vehicle, a red Mustang, was later found on Highway 41-A between Tullahoma and the Normandy community..."

Yes and Kelli's Husband was staying with her mother!

You're right. Perhaps another young woman with similar tattoo's?

Peeps, I have just copied over a number of posts from Brittney Wood's thread regarding a UID that I see you are already discussing. I apologize for the disruption but hope that some of the links or comments might be helpful to you here.

Since these posts are copied in by time of post, you may see some of them pop up in between previous posts you'd made. Please also note that the original posters on some of these posts may not read regularly in this thread and so may not respond immediately to questions.

The sleuthers on Brittney's thread wanted to be sure to share info with sleuthers who are focused on Kelli, though.
